The other thread was behaving strangely, so I'm starting a new one.

For those of you who may not know I'm lafon حمزة نوفل, your mod. You can just call me lafon though.

I'm a 17 year old (nearly 18) student, who is addicted to books, computers, and hockey. I'm also an IT technician.

Hello everyone I'm will.

I have many hobbies like reading, writing, playing sports, playing music and many others. I'm also in my senior year of high school and I usually wait until the last minute to get things done, a bad habit I know. Especially since I'm in my senior year. Because of this I may not be very active.

I'm working on ultimately becoming a game designer or a game writer. Nice to meet you all!

I posted in the last one but I suppose I'll announce myself as part of the second generation of mighty pens.

I'm a horrible, inconsistent travesty when it comes to being part of an online community, so please don't take it personally if I disappear for long periods or fail to respond to someone, it's just my way. I do log into goodreads at least daily, if not usually all day.

However, I would love to help anyone who asks for it, as long as I can be honest with them. Message me to chat on mibbit or we can just chat on GR.

I'm currently working on a novel and brainstorming a few others because I'm a massochist. Otherwise I like a lot of other creative outlets like painting, baking, jewelery making and music. I'm most relaxed and inspired reading outdoors or skating alone on a lake. But sometimes the best way to get into the mood to be creative is to block out the world with video games - explodey ones.

Feel free to start a conversation with me about anything, I enjoy discussions.

Edit to add some basics. I'm 25, from eastern canada, I currently work at a gym and my goal is to get into a carreer outdoors. I live with my boyfriend and kitty (an abyssinian named Abby) and spend most of my weekends drinking and playing sci-fi or fantasy based tabletop games with my friends. Tabletop games might be the single BEST way to get creativity flowing.

I'm Willow and thrilled to be here. I've been a writer of unfinished novels and a voracious reader from kid-hood. I finally finished the first draft of a novel years ago that I'm currently editing and posting as a serial...easier said than done. After re-reading some of the original writing, I admit to being a bit stumped by some of my characters.
Love of the story and the many re-writes of the first few chapters have left me with zero objectivity. During my time away from the book, I've written (and finished...yayy!!) a couple of screenplays and am now hoping to return to prose.
The first chapter is actually on goodreads already, and any opinions would be most welcome.
I love to read other writers and help them with their process...I'm honored to be a part of the group!(less) "
