I just finished "She Walks in Beauty" by Siri Mitchell. Tonight, I started "A Suitable Wife" by Louise M. Gouge. I'm only on page 65, but it is very good so far.
I am reading A Talent For Trouble by Jen Turano. The book has me in stitches. I love it!!! Too funny!!!
I just finished Rebellious Heart by Jody Hedlund. WOW!! Loved it!!! Want to start it again already!!!
I finished In the Company of Secrets and now I'm on book 2 of the series, Whispers on the rails. The first book was a little hard for me to get into but I'm glad I did. I really like the books so far
I'm bouncing back and forth between Rules of Murder by Julianna Deering and Gideon's Call: a Novel by Peter Leavell. Both are great so far!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0989...A very interesting, true story about Pioneer life including the Civil War battle at Olustee, Fla., how horse flu led to a national economic collapse and a devastating fire in Boston, pirates frequenting St. Mary's, Georgia, and the perils of traveling by foot through the 'big scrub' and by steamboat on the St. John's River.

"I also just finished A Rebellious Heart! Love Jody Hedlund books!!!!
I just finished reading debut author Melissa Jagears' novel. What a nice story!!! And am reading Serena Miller's novel A Promise to Love before I catch up with her last Michigan novel--this one stellar like the first in the series. Listened to Jessica Dott'a debut novel and she was blessed with a fabulous narrator! And just received Melanie Dickerson's new novel in the mail!!! Can't wait to get to that one, too!
I just finished Barbara Brink's
the first in her winery series of three. It is an enjoyable read by a Christian author for those of you who enjoy a touch of mystery and romance in a modern setting. Barbara and I have become on-line friends, and she has in turn read the first of my ebook mysteries, but be assured that did Not color my take.
I just finished She Walks in Beauty and have started on A Daughter's Inheritance… so far so good! :)(Also both are free in the Kindle store this month)
I'm reading All Things Hidden by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse right now. Love it! Gwyn's character is priceless, and I never would have imagined this particular historical setting.
I'm reading Shadowed by Grace by Cara Putnam. It's a WWII novel about the Monuments Men. Enjoying it!

Just finished "The Redemption" by M.L. Tyndall. Great book! Waiting for the ebook format for the second book in the series. Starting "The Red Siren" by M.L. Tyndall.
Started reading The Price of Freedom by Carol Umberger. Finished the first one in the series Circle of Honor, and I'm excited to read this one!
I just finished Julie Klassen's latest, The Dancing Master. She's a favorite of mine and I loved it as I hoped it I would. Right now, I'm reading a novella called, Appalachian Serenade and enjoying it so far.
Currently reading Grave Consequences and A Stray Drop of Blood, both on kindle. I'm enjoying them :-)Anna: that's great that you're reading M.L. Tyndall's books! She's a good author :-) I've read the Red Siren and the rest in that series, as well as Surrender the Heart.
Good Morning I just finished Against the Tide and it was a great read it told about a young lady who becomes a spy during the colonial era of American history. It was worth reading and kept me glued to the story till the end of the book. Chris
Just finished " Saving Amelie" by Cathy Gohlke. If you want an amazing WWII read this is for you!!!!
Sounds like something I would like to read soon thanks for letting me know. I have a lot of books to read yet before I try this one.
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... link to my review. Amazon has a great summary. Loved this one!
I just finished two books this last week..."Love Amid the Ashes" by Mesu Andrews (very good) & "Rachel" by Jill Eileen Smith (loved it!)
I am on last book in Lisa T. Bergren's The Grand Tour Series. This is my first time reading her books and I am really enjoying it!!!!
Marlene wrote: "I am on last book in Lisa T. Bergren's The Grand Tour Series. This is my first time reading her books and I am really enjoying it!!!!"I'm glad to hear it. I've wanted to read that series. I don't think I've read anything by her yet. But maybe soon :)
Reading Sky Zone by Creston Mapes great Christian suspense! The Christian suspense books just keep getting better!
Marlene wrote: "I am on last book in Lisa T. Bergren's The Grand Tour Series. This is my first time reading her books and I am really enjoying it!!!!"What did you think of the second book? I'm reading that one now :-)
Christina wrote: "Good Morning I just finished Against the Tide and it was a great read it told about a young lady who becomes a spy during the colonial era of American history. The 18th century (especially American revolutionary war history) is my favorite :-)
Hi Charmaine!I did not like the second book and would probably have given it 3 stars if I were giving my opinion on it. I read recently that she had gone thru some really hard times and am assuming it was probably during this time as I think #3 was as good as #1.
Highly recommend Lisa Tawn Bergren's books. I have the privilege of knowing her personally, and not only is she a gifted writer (novels, non-fiction, editing), but she is also a quality woman, great mother, and all-around caring person. One of the perks of being a Christian author is being able to hang around with other Christian authors--funny, gifted, inspiring, and none finer than Lisa.
I'm just starting A Match of Wits by Jen Turano. This is the one in the series I've been waiting for.
Pamela Jo wrote: "I just finished "She Walks in Beauty" by Siri Mitchell. Tonight, I started "A Suitable Wife" by Louise M. Gouge. I'm only on page 65, but it is very good so far."I love She walks in beauty!
Rachael wrote: "Just finished " Saving Amelie" by Cathy Gohlke. If you want an amazing WWII read this is for you!!!!"I liked that one too!
Cindy wrote: "I just started Lisa Wingate's The Prayer Box. Hard to put down."I grabbed
when it was free on Kindle the other day! :-) I'm glad to know it's a good read.
