The Evolution of Science Fiction discussion

I just watched Riddick in theatres yesterday. I quite enjoyed it. If you've seen the other movies, it's very similar to Pitch Black. Riddick is trapped on a planet with many hungry alien creatures. He attacks a group of mercenaries in an attempt to steal one of their ships. The Riddick series has never been my favourite sci-fi series, but it is fun to watch and this one especially has some really cool visuals. Anyone else seen it yet?

I haven't, but I'm looking forward to it. I really liked "Pitch Black", but didn't care as much for 'Chronicles'.

I'm a true fan of everything Riddick. Yeah Pitch Black is my favorite but that only because of the phenomenal performance by Radha Mitchell. In CHronicles, I really enjoyed the fights which were just fucking BADASS.

I found it was similar to the other movies, but i liked the first two much better. So of the lines the mercenary leader said where just stupid.
