Wanted by Sara Shepard was a dramatic, adrenaline seeking, action packed book which kept me on the edge of my seat, chapter after chapter. Five best friends, Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily, and Ali have a very close bond together. At least that is what the four girls, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily thought. Ali had been acting strange before she went missing, and then later, proven murdered. The four ex-best friends thought Ali was ditching them for much cooler, new friends as Ali once did to her old best friends, Naomi and Riley. But what they don’t know is where Ali’s true where bouts were. It may have not been new, cooler friends as much as running away from someone or something. The four girls are reunited to find out the truth about the night Ali got murdered. They all know something that led to the death of Ali even if they can’t remember. The question is how do they get there full memory back? And are they smart enough to put the puzzle pieces together to figure out who killed Ali or do they need a little help? But A likes a game and won’t tell them who he/she is without seeing these girls go down with all their dirty little secrets and lies. A is a mysterious staler who is blackmailing Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily. A is Ali’s killer and the four best friends must go through near death experiences and life scarring memories to try to find out the truth of who killed Ali. It might be hard but the girls are up to the challenge. They know who Ali’s killer is, they just have to think. I think Wanted is a very good read and I would highly recommend it to readers that like a creepy, drama filling, suspenseful story. You never know what’s going to happen in Wanted. Like, when we find out Ali has a twin or that Jason, Ali’s brother, moves back to Rosewood a year after Ali’s death. It is much unexpected because there were no hints to Ali having a twin, not even pictures or an extra bed. I don’t know why Jason would move back to Rosewood, in his old house because it must be traumatic to think that Ali used to live there. Also, this book is very dramatic packed. For example, when Kate acts sweet in front of Tom, Kate and Hanna’s father, when Hanna’s alone Kate causes all this drama to get Hanna in trouble for things she doesn’t even do. There are many scenes of drama. Finally, this book still has a popularity base that every high school has. Like, when Hanna used to be popular until Kate and her group kicked her out of the group. This shows how men kids can be in high school and how popularity is everything to high school students no matter which high school. This is why I like Wanted by Sara Shepard and why I would highly recommend it.
