Mia wrote: "For those who signed up, are there any course requirements, like assignments or tests/ quizzes?"It doesn't mention tests/papers. Considering that it's open to an international audience (including all of us), I'm sure it's for personal enrichment, plus discussions.
I signed up as soon as I saw it posted on FB! Excited. I'm odd...I wouldn't mind tests and stuff! :)

Tango wrote: "I think there are quizzes and tests."I looked at the "terms and conditions" page ( http://about.futurelearn.com/terms )(Section 4.1.c) that does imply there may be some kind of testing. But, I'm sure they would have told us in the course requirements. Especially, since it's free.
I've joined up, and looking forward to it. The course is closed for this term now, think its been very popular.
I'm signing up for the 2014 course (knew I wouldn't have time before the new year), but can't figure out if I can access the course at any time convenient for me or if I have to "attend" at specific times. Does anyone here know?
Sure hope it's sign in when you like because I'm on a completely different time than Leicester! I think you are too, right Joan?
Just checked the email: "...exciting, engaging learning experience for you, mixing audio and video overviews and interviews with experts, with short texts and images: each week broken into smaller units so that you will be able to study at a time, and pace, convenient for you."
