Richard III discussion

The University of Leicester is offering a free online course, beginning in November, on England in the time of Richard III. The following link should (hopefully) provide course information and registration details:

It doesn't mention tests/papers. Considering that it's open to an international audience (including all of us), I'm sure it's for personal enrichment, plus discussions.

I'm signing up for the 2014 course (knew I wouldn't have time before the new year), but can't figure out if I can access the course at any time convenient for me or if I have to "attend" at specific times. Does anyone here know?
