SPOILER (seriously don't read this if you don't want to have the book spoilt)
So English isn't my native language so excuse me if this question makes you go like 'uuh whut?' but I couldn't find a single English site that could answer this question, only german ones and my german is awful.
So, who the frick is Mr. Bernhardt, the butler? Lucy and Paul take that name in the epilogue of Emerald Green and Gwen told us that the butler has been in the house for ages (he was their when her 'mom' was still a kid and he is supposed to be a family friend of Maddy). So like what is he her brother? Nephew? Uncle or whatever because I really don't understand a thing of their family tree?
Please help me I'm so desperate for this answer, I will love you for an eternity okay bye

Mr. Bernhardt is the great-great-grandson (I don't know how many greats) of Gwens brother or sister. But I don't know if he knows that himself.
I hope I helped you!
bye (is it me, or does just saying bye sound weird?)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Although it feels like he is a bit to old to be her brother (I mean, he doesn't really sound 94 to me, more 70-is

I really want to read this book. Is it available in English or will it be?

So does that make him her brother or great grandson? Just finished and am totally confused right now! I love that twist though!!! Whatever their relation may be!
