The Grey Mountains
Madelaine rode on, searching for the Great Wizard, Gandalf. Her staff was in hand as she rode. She no longer had her cloak covering her head for it simply rested on her shoulder. She wore a blue dress much like the midnight sky, and her brown long curls raced in the wind.
Madelaine slowed her horse down to a stop next to him. She dismounted the stallion, tying the reins to a tree limb. "Gandalf, sir." She said bowing slightly. "It is an honor to meet you."
"It is an honor to meet you, child of the earth. No foolishness with you, only determination. And sadness, I see. You want my help."
((Ok, your probably gonna kill me. I don't like her being a earth Mage. I wanted her to be a water Mage do she could help Toby and because I like water better. What do I do?!))
((Magic change. Staff malfunction.))
"Earth though... that isn't quite it, is it? You specialize in plants. Vines and life. The water inside the plants. You've assumed..."

"I've had a bit of a change after my death. Plants for me now are harder to control. I guess I'm starting to specialize in water." Madelaine said with a small shrug.
"Of course." Madelaine said handing him her staff.
((Look at my profile pic. That's what her staff looks like and that's what she looks like.))

((I saved that picture for someone in my book months ago.))
"Yes, you're definitely a water mage, child. By far."
"Yes, you're definitely a water mage, child. By far."
Madelaine nodded smiling slightly. "Thank you, sir. I was also wondering if you could help me train. It is a pity Alatar could not train me like he wanted to, but he is dead. As is Pallando." She said with a sad sigh.
Madelaine have a small chuckle. "Yes, the Tooks are a bit... Unique. I also had one question. How am I a Mage if I was never born in Middle Earth?" She asked her voice soft and low.
((OH MY FREAKIN GOD. What if her and Ilsa were sisters and Yoby was their little brother?! And they were Gandalfs children?!?!! OH MY GOD. I always come up with plot twists. Sorry if I'm too crazy for you. I blame hormones and being 13.))

"Not all. There is one from Earth who doesn't have powers. I forgot his name." Madelaine said sighing. She leaned up against a tree. "I must sound completely mental, but I wish I had a family who appreciated me."
((Ok. Here's the story. Gandalf secretly had a wife, and she was having twins. ((Fiera and Madelaine)) Gandalf knew that he wasn't supposed to have children and Saruman might have him taken from being a wizard. He went to the Valar and asked if they could take them somewhere far away where they would not be hurt. Madelaine and Fiera were separated while being put into another females womb. Toby then was born in ME, and then was sent to Fieras "Mom"'s womb.))

((No! When will you be back?! Soon?!!?!!))
((Yeah, cleaning, I'll be slow."
"I'm sure they did," he said. "Somehow. As for magic, I'm sure it was a fluke, or something." He started to get flustered.
"I'm sure they did," he said. "Somehow. As for magic, I'm sure it was a fluke, or something." He started to get flustered.
"Oh." Madelaine said. She noticed he was flustered. "Are you alright, sir?"
"Yes, lets begin." Madelaine said with a small shrug. She stood awkwardly as he still held her staff.
"Um, don't you think I'd need my staff first?" Madelaine said because he was holding her staff.
((only Gandalf and Madelaine are. They are training. Fi is in Minas Tirith.))
Madelaine caught it in mid air. She gripped it firmly thinking of Fiera and her grip. She closed her eyes, concentrated.
Madelaine took a deep breath. She imagined things calm, fluid, concentrated. Suddenly water spurted from the earth creating a hand that was formed by water.
He smiled. "Good, very good. You are never frazzled. You are smooth, powerful, each movement moving to the next."
Madelaine made the water flow back down into the earth. "Thank you," she said smiling.
Madelaine sighed as the sun began to sink behind the mountain tops.
"Yes, some things do trouble me." Madelaine said truthfully.
Madelaine sighed as she sat on a log. "I'm in love, and I wish I wasn't."
"But this love isn't. He doesn't love me back." Madelaine said sighing.
"Yes, she did. But, I thought he loved me back. I thought Legolas loved me..." Madelaine said putting her head in her hands.
He put both his hands on her shoulders. "It will be all right. Perhaps he wasn't the one. It hurts, I know.
"How would you know? I thought wizards couldn't love another. That it would be their weakness." Madelaine said looking up at him sadly.
"Wizards would be cold if they couldn't love. Wizards may love, it is not forbidden. Just discouraged."
"Oh. So, you've loved somebody?" Madelaine said. She was a curious girl, always.
((Btw his wife died after giving birth to Toby.))

The Grey Mountains at their peaks are bitter cold. In the South region of the Lonely Mountain, trees grow tall amongst the mountain side. Orcs come through time to time, when they are planning a secret attack.
