Alternate Realities: A Scifi Book Club discussion

I really liked this book. With that being said, It was very hard to get into and was a very slow read for me. What did everyone else think?

ive recently just re-read it and enjoyed it a lot more second time around than i did originally.

Gross and Subby were excellent but id loved more of an explanation of them both. How they got into Bill's apartment was fantastic imagination.

Collingwood, sometimes her swearing was a bit much and i was eager for something bad to happen to her!

I read this book a couple of years ago so my memory might be a little faulty, but I remember thinking it was great right up to the end, when it took two or three twists and lost me. I remember thinking that the last twist just ruined it for me. I've read a couple of books lately where the ending saved the book for me and this went just the opposite way.

I kept expecting his girlfriend to be okay at the end. I guess the book was better because she wasn't. The main character was not the driving force of the book. Things happened to him and around him for a majority of the story. Very passive voice for a story in general. An interesting approach.

Picking up a copy this weekend! ;-)
