ive recently just re-read it and enjoyed it a lot more second time around than i did originally.Gross and Subby were excellent but id loved more of an explanation of them both. How they got into Bill's apartment was fantastic imagination.
Collingwood, sometimes her swearing was a bit much and i was eager for something bad to happen to her!
I read this book a couple of years ago so my memory might be a little faulty, but I remember thinking it was great right up to the end, when it took two or three twists and lost me. I remember thinking that the last twist just ruined it for me. I've read a couple of books lately where the ending saved the book for me and this went just the opposite way.
I kept expecting his girlfriend to be okay at the end. I guess the book was better because she wasn't. The main character was not the driving force of the book. Things happened to him and around him for a majority of the story. Very passive voice for a story in general. An interesting approach.
