I didn't get the part in the forth book when they told Max it was all a dream. I was like "Wha...????"

I believed it at first and I went around thinking, "Is my life a dream? Are those clouds real?" I got this voice that sounded like my nose was congested. I tried to touch the clouds, but I couldn't touch them so I decided the world must be fake until I ran into a tree... OUCH! Kidding.
