Jesslyn (jesslynh) | 16 comments Hoping someone can help me find a book. Set in dystopian (Victorian?) London. Bad air, people living undergroud, the lower the poorer (i think). I beleive its YA, starts with a main char (a girl) climbing up a building which is against the rules. She gets talked down and later goes to an underground (literally) party where they cave dive? Its where all the teenagers go to blow off steam

Sigh...that sounded horrible. But if you can help--I'd appreciate it.

Just a guess - The Tube Riders by Chris Ward?

SparksofEmber | 957 comments Sounds like it could be steampunk? If it's Victorian-era. Did they have odd technology despite the time period?

SparksofEmber | 957 comments Maybe Nimbus?

"The setting is a dystopian future in which the entire world is covered with a corrosive, poisonous fog. The population lives ether high atop huge towers or underground beneath the towers. Travel between towers is possible only by way of steam powered airships that keep well above the fog."

Jesslyn (jesslynh) | 16 comments I think it is steampunk, but its not any of the books mentioned. The main character is a teenaged girl.

Jesslyn (jesslynh) | 16 comments I never read it--I Kindle sampled it. Thanks to your help, I found it Ashes of Twilight (Ashes Trilogy, #1) by Kassy Tayler
