One of the best books I've ever read! Second only to the Harry Potter series!

LOVE divergent!!! Just finished reading it :)

Yeah. Idk why but it seems like the main characters of dystopians are a little unstable or go crazy... Katniss is VERY unstable. Tris is kind going crazy in Insurgent... Juliette in Shatter Me is quite unstable too.

I don't know, maybe its the authors way of making the characters realistic? Nobody likes too perfect characters because no ones like that in real life, so maye thats why. I dunnooo...

I guess... I really like Uriah. I hope he doesn't die!!

is there any divergent fan who doesn't like four or uriah!?

it is much better than THG coz tris ends up with four....while in THG katniss doesn't end up with gale....:-(

CAN I JUST VENT FOR A SECOND I KNOW THIS IS OFF TOPIC BUT I AM REALLY UPSET WITH THE CASTING FOR THE MOVIE I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MILES TELLER (MILES TELLER!!!!!) IS GOING TO BE PLAYING PETER THIS IS NOT OKAY. HE AND SHAILENE WERE IN THE SPECTACULAR NOW TOGETHER AND THEY WERE LIKE THE MOST PERFECT AMAZING FABULOUS COUPLE EVER AND NOW THEY'RE MORTAL ENEMIES I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS NONSENSE. Okay I'm done I'm just very invested in this movie and them in Spectacular Now. Just please tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't like the cast for Divergent????

I too am very upset with the casting. Miles Teller honestly does not look like he could play a bad guy and I don't know if Shailene will be able to pull off Tris' character. However, I think that they picked the perfect actor to play four.

Please no one murder me (I know a lot of people agree with you) but I really, really don't think theo james looks AT ALL like Four should...really the only person who looks exactly like I thought they would is Ansel...but he's Ansel, so of course he's perfect :) I may be a little biased.

i have the same impression that Theo James doesn't look like Four. When I saw the trailer, well I would say he wasn't that bad at all.

He's too old for her and too old in general and I don't think he's good looking at all (I know a lot of people disagree but that's just me)

Loved the first book, but the second book went a little downhill for me personally. Still, wonderful series, wonderful author (she went to my middle school & high school!), and I can't wait to see what Allegient has in store for us!

Does anyone else think that Four and Tobias are like two completely different people? Cause I'm currently reading Allegiant (I know how it ends by the way) and I got bored so I picked up Divergent and started reading a few scenes and I actually like Four! But not Tobias!

DONT READ IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW ALLEGIANT ENDS!!! SPOILER!!! I like to think she's secretly writing book four and will surprise us with it! :D in the book tris never really died but made the body look like hers and she escaped in order to keep the peace or something as long as she's not dead! :'-(

Yeah but we were in Tris's head during that part and it seemed pretty real to me :( I dunno though

I think they will be before Allegiant because I just read the transfer and it was of the past...also she finished Allegiant in the epilogue with I think 2 years later and i don't think she would bring us back to that.

before,apparently the LAST novella is Going to Coincide with Divergent.

I just finished rereading divergent. I wanted to read it again before the movie comes out, but I have seen to much stuff about the movie. I kept picturing the characters as the actors that are playing them in the movie. Four especially. It is really annoying and it ruined the book! Anyone have this happen? Anyone have a fix?

I just finished reading Divergent last night and it was HANDS DOWN the BEST book I have ever read! I just bought Insurgent and am going to start reading that today! :)

Just saw the movie actually. Don't know how I feel about it yet. It was good but they strayed from the book a lot I think and that makes me mad.

Yeah I really liked it, but they changed quite a bit near the end of the movie

I liked it too but I saw some differences too and I wish they could use some details...
