Whoop whoop! I've been waiting for this one :D This book is amazingness.

It is! I just love Katy because she is a YA reader and vlogger :) Daemon and Katy's banter is so funny and adorable. I could read this book all day, any day.

I know I love it a lot :D
My only problem is the cover....I usually wouldnt pick up a book with covers like this (especially Origin), since I always judge books on them. So glad I read this though!

Same! The covers look weird... Origin's cover just looks cheesy...

I KNOW! Why in the world does he need to walk bare-chested with a jacket on. Really. And the blueness in the background....just no.

You'll learn why it's called Obsidian in the novel. It's hard to explain because you don't have the background knowledge yet. So the "guy" in this book is Daemon Black. He is basically Jace Wayland. The protagonist is a book lover :) The genre would be paranormal.

And it's obsidian cuz....well there is some action with obsidian blades...

He is much sweeter than Jace. He's still got the arrogance and snarkiness tho.

Haha yup and hes seriously conceited. Mostly in a joking way though. And I think he has more of a personality than Jace.

Yeah I do love Jace, but I agree. Daemon is more complex and has a better personality.

I don't care for Jace...I read COB after I saw the casting for the movie so lets just say my opinion of Jace was warped after I saw him

Lol YES. If you imagine Bower as Jace, it ruins the whole fantasy. When I saw shirtless Bower in CoB movie, I was concerned for his healthy! I think he was supposed to look hot or something but he didn't have a six pack, and he was way too skinny. I was thinking "Someone get this man a sandwich!!"

I love the Katy and Daemon banter! I really liked the innocence of the setting too. It was a small, quaint town.
