Welcome to October's group read of The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey.

Enjoy!!

Jaime LH | 2 comments I absolutely love this novel. As gruesome as parts of it are, I know it's not for everyone but it is beautifully written. The most fascinating aspect to me is the complex, arguably unhealthy co-dependent relationship between Will Henry and Dr. Warthrop. It's definitely unhealthy for Will to make one person everything to him, but it's understandable given his circumstances.
What are some other perspectives on this relationship?
What do you think of Jack Kearns?
Did you find the novel scary?

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) I thought this was pretty darn creepy. Kearns is a rat! I love the characters and think Warthrop is hilarious, despite himself. The narrator did an awesome job with the audiobook. Snap to!

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) What a perfect book for the month of Halloween!!
