sorry - consider yourself judged...and not is a harsh way - I tend to go read the book a film was based on if I was half way interested in the movie version.I still haven't read The Da Vinci code even though I have the flash version that has all the colour images of the paintings and things.
I really am just not that interested, although probably it means that it should be the next book I pick up just so I can be done with it and not have it staring at me from the pile like it has done for the last two (or is it three..?) years.
you know. i actually liked the da vinci code! hee.
again, quit with the judging.
i think dan brown does conspiracy well. i don't think he writes well though, and this makes for a very weird combinations.
considering he's an author and all...

*snort*I have decided i'll make it my mission to read the da vinci code as my next non-bookclub book. Hey, I might find it good, I actually quite liked the movie even though most panned it(except for the whole albino monk thing - that made me giggle inappropriately). Maybe it was becasue I hadn't read the book first that I quite liked it.
There are some times I just go "nuh, not watching/reading it" simply because everyone else is all over it. I still haven't seen dances with wolves or slumdog millionaire....(*ha*)
so yep, I might just get to read da vinci up after I finish the book I'm on and after Scarlet Letter. but thats if sookie doesn't get to me first...!
Don't feel bad!! I couldn't stand Da Vinci Code or Angels & Demons. These two books were a few books I sent to half price books (and I never give up a book). Renae

I agree, Rhi. He knows his stuff, but the writing -- terrible. Luckily, he's pretty good at keeping the book packed with enough info and codes and all that fun stuff that I'm able to overlook the bad writing -- or to at least treat it with snickering rather than chucking across the room.

i read ONE book. and it wasn't even GOOD. and i knew it wasn't going to be good, but i had to read it because i watched the film.
i love tom hanks. this is why i watched and then read, Angels and Demons. don't judge me people.
i'm getting to it this month.
