Jordan dropped down on the ground, with the flock behind her. She looked over at Dan and smiled. "We should find a place to stay." She said. It was getting dark.

"Yeah" said Dan tired. "Yes, we need a place for the night"

She went around and saw a little house/hut, that was unused. "Perfect."

Dan walked beside her. "Yeah" he looks to the forming night "it's been a long flight today, hasn't it?"

"You know, my wings are dying right now" he stretched them.

"Mine too. Yes, it's been a long flight. Sorry, tomorrow will be much better." She said and opened the door.

Dan clicked the switch for the lights. The lights were dead. He turned took his bag and took a lantern. He placed it a atop a table and turned it on "well, it's much better than the last one"

"Yeah." She said. She went to the fridge and opened it. At least there were food. Hmm. "At least we have food."

Dan looked "well, yeah" he looked to the door "which means someone has been here not long ago".

"Hopefully they won't be back till tomorrow when we are gone."

Dan felt dissapointed "maybe we should try to get a real place, one where we don't have to be moving always, you know"

"Yes, but where would we be staying? That's what I've been trying to do. I found a good place. It's just in Canada."

Dan thought for a moment "well, I guess we'll be safe from the school there" he thought a little more "but it's pretty far away, at least two more days, you know"

"I know. We'll take breaks on the way."

Dan took his sleeping bag from his bag and placed it on the floor. He then took a bag of Oreos for his pocket. They were crushed, but still they tasted good. Yeah, we better do, it else I'll be falling on top of the Great Lakes" he said in a funny tone.

She shrugged. "After all day flight, I actually agree with that. I'm sure they would too." She said looking back at the other flock.

Dan offered her Oreos "do you wan some?" He said.

"Sure, thanks." She said and took some.

Dan took a bottle of water and finished it almost. Do you still have your water?

He asked her

"Yeah." She said and grabbed her water out of the bag.

Dan went inside the sleeping bag. "Good night" he said

"Good night." She said. Once everyone was asleep, she went to the window to watch. She barely slept. To her, the flock was more important to her than sleep.

Fan woke up. He stood up and drank some water. He was going back asleep when he noticed that Jordan was awake. He walked over to in the window and said "you should get some sleep, you know, you will need it for tomorrow, or is it today now?" He asked himself looking at his watch.

"No. I barely sleep ever since we got out." She said and still looked out the window, not looking at him at all.

Dan looked to the sky "you know, I can watch for the flock also, you don't need to do this alone"

"You need your sleep too. Plus, I've seen you in the mornings when you barely got any sleep. You are cranky."

"Well" Dan said smiling "not always. Go on, sleep, I'll stay awake until morning, alright"

She smiled. "Thanks." She said. She went and laid down, falling asleep. 7 hours later, she woke up an hour after the rest of the flock.

"Good morning" Ben said. He had another bag of Oreos, and was chewing rather soundly. Everything was packed and ready to go.

((We need more in the flock, don't you think?))

"Everyone ready?" She asked looking at everyone.

Dan nodded "how does it feels to finally sleep how you are supposed to?"

((Yeah. I'll invite people.))

"Eh." She shrugged. She grabbed her things and everyone followed her outside.

"Ready?"asked Dan

She nodded and they took off.

If one thing Dan really loved, was flying. He loved the feeling of the air rushing past his feathers, he loved the heat of the sun touching him... Above all, he loved feeling like he was on top of the world. He shouted happily.

She looked at Dan and laughed. "It sounded like there is a storm a few hours away. We'll stop there."

"Okay!" Shouted Dan above the roaring wind that suddenly became dangerously strong.

She flapped harder, trying to stay in the air. Next thing she knew it, a wind blew right at her making her fly backwards, fast.

Dan shouted "Jordan!" But the wind ate his words. He made a sharp turn and went for her. The wind had begin to push her down, so Dan tried to use the same current that was pushing her to gain speed.
