Okay. It's not premiering until October 10th. Still. We can dream. Here's the rundown (My access to youtube is limited due to... you guessed it, China ;) )

In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole. An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she’s seen during this impossible adventure. Surely this troubled girl must be insane and her doctors aim to cure her with a treatment that will make her forget everything. Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love with and lost forever — the handsome and mysterious Cyrus. But deep down Alice knows this world is real and just in the nick of time, the sardonic Knave of Hearts and the irrepressible White Rabbit arrive to save her from a doomed fate. Together, the trio will take a tumble down the rabbit hole to this Wonderland where nothing is impossible.

Joseph (bluemanticore) I watched it on http://abc.go.com/shows/once-upon-a-t... last night and I thought it was an interesting beginning, it looks like it is going to be a bit of a mash-up of the world of Wonderland and the characters of The Arabian Nights. The Alice that appears here is not your usual timid little girl that Alice is too often thought to be thanks to Disney, but she isn't exactly the one Lewis Carroll originally wrote either. She and this Wonderland make me think more of the ones found in places like Zenescope's graphic novels or American McGee's Alice video game and definitely not Disney's corruption. The story seems to be more punching and less talking and this is not necessarily a bad thing, I like the action and the monsters. I have to be honest, though. Jafar looks a little goofy to me. We'll see where the story goes from here.
