Heart-Shaped Box

I really enjoyed this book. just finished it.I loved the many references to 90's rock spread through out. The book starts off with a bang and doesn't stop until the ending. A nice read before Halloween for sure.

The Strain Trilogy - Guillero del Toro and Chuck Hogan (I am currently reading book 2, The Fall.)

The first book, The Strain, kind of got off to a slow start, for my taste, but this is a series I recommend because it is well written and offers a modern spin on vampires. I am getting engrossed in book 2, the Fall, and can't wait to get to the final book, The Night Eternal.
