Are there more of us out there that loved these books? I loved the fact that there are a number of the series out here and not the huge waiting factor in series. I kinda think that these are sleepers so to speak, great books & writing that have gone under the radar...They hit it all Vampires of different types, love interests, history, power, mystery, intrige. And family...and one book links to another without the big cliff hangers...and can stand alone as well. Anyother comments!!!

I loved the Elemental Series and most of its characters. The one character I never liked was Baojia. Maybe because knowingly and purposefully went after Bea even when he knew she was with Gio. I've heard good things about the Scribe, so thinking I need to read that too.

I loved the four Elemental Mysteries novels - the characters of Gio and Beatrice were very engaging and there was good development of the characters. I haven't tried any of the Elemental World books, as I wasn't sure they could live up to the Gio and Beatrice books. Would people out there recommend them? Are they as good as/a good substitute for the Elemental Mystery series?

I loved this series as well. I haven't read much of the paranormal genre in the past but this last year a read quite a few books in that genre. While most of them were entertaining and fun and provided me with the much needed escape from real life that I was looking for, I found much of the writing to be a bit disappointing in some ways. This was not the case with this series. The writing was beautiful, the plot was tightly constructed without relying solely on getting the characters from plot point to plot point and the characters were complicated and real. I absolutely loved these books. I have read the Elemental World books as well and have loved seeing the supporting characters from this series become the main focus of their own stories, (Carwyn, Baojia, Tenzin). I hope there are more books to come.

I really liked the Elemental series, despite my general distaste of paranormal in general. Gio as the tortured vampire who falls in love... and swoon-worthy every time he called her "mi tesoro". And I loved Beatrice as a strong female!

Her series, The Irin Chronicles is also fantastic! And I loved The Black Swan Series. Smart. Exciting. Original. And I just loved ALL the characters. It's the mark of a good series for me when I know and love the secondary characters just as much as the primary. And, I remember them from book to book because she's a good storyteller. You should check it out. By Victoria Danann. I give them all 5 stars.

When I found these books I was so enthralled - I loved the world that she created, and I loved that Bea's and Gio's story took longer than one book to resolve. I've read all her other books now; just finished The Scribe, and have purchased The Singer.

But what's the deal with Cambio Springs? Seems like she started the series, but then went in a different direction and kind of abandoned it? I can't find anywhere on her web site where she talks about new work in this one.

I have the book, but I haven't read it yet. I am happy to know that so many of you like it, it makes me want to read it right now :)

By the way I found this book free on amazon!

I've read all of Elizabeth Hunter's work too! One book I haven't seen mentioned which I highly recommend is The Genius and the Muse by Elizabeth Hunter Not paranormal, but wonderful story.

So glad that I've found you all! I'm a huge fan of these books. Downloaded A Hidden Fire as it was free and I've been hooked ever since.

I've read all four of the Elemental Mysteries books and all of the Elemental World spin-off books too.

The Cambio Springs series are next on my to read list...

I love Elizabeth Hunter's writing style! Her female characters are strong, the way she develops the characters' relationships is very natural and how she describes scenes & situations just transports me instantly. It makes me so happy to find an author that entertains me so thoroughly. All of her books so far have been absolute page turners so far.

The scribe is waiting to be opened on my kindlw when I finish what i'm reading right now. Goos to hear you like it so far.

I fell in love with this series after reading the 1st book. Ms. Elizabeth Hunter wrote this story so well.... I read that book in four days. I could not put the book down. It was amazing. The entire series was awesome. I am now reading the Scribe I'm 32% in...I am amazed and can't wait to see where the story goes from there. It's been tempting but I haven't read any spoilers but what's the fun in that???... Discovering the mystery is the best part.

I loved the Elemental Series. I've not read any of the other spin-offs.....yet. *grins*

I too love this series, I have yet to read the others though that branched off from the 1st 4 books.

i've read all this series, and the Elemental World series, AND the two in the Cambio Springs (shifters) and have to say i loved them all!
looking forward to the enw series, Irin Chronicles, which is released on Oct 13th :-)

I loved this series. Read the first one and immediately bought the next three! I was engrossed for several days and couldn't put them down.

Allison,

I totally agree with you. I loved this series and it was different. It definitely was not the normal vampire books I've read before. By the time I got to the last book in the series, though, I was ready for it to conclude. I loved the 1st 3. The 1st one pulled me in and I had to keep reading the others to find out what happened.

I love that these vampires have powers related with the elements. So different and captivating than others.

I also loved the development of the characters throughout the story. The relationship between Bea and ??? (i forgot his name) was very well developed. It was not an instant--Oh I'm in love--kinda book.

I really enjoyed this series.
