It is a lake!

Eliza hurried after Charlotte, seeing the beautiful and glassy lake as she neared the water's edge.

Charlotte looks at Eliza. "Here it is." She grins, she loved it here.

"Oh gosh, it's absolutely stunning!" Eliza cried, throwing her arms open and inhaling the fresh air.

The lake's water was cold. Charlotte shivers a little as she dip her foot in the water surface. "You think it good for the princess?" She ask looking around at everything

Jessica came in with Galen, she'd used her powers to put an illusion over them, making them seem invisible. The humans shouldn't notice a thing...

"She'd be a grumpy and crazy fey to not like this lake! It's absolutely perfect!" Eliza exclaimed with a giggle, seeing Charlotte approach the water.

Charlotte giggles. "She will be like her mother!!!" Then covers her mouth with another giggle. "I shouldnt speak bad of them..."


Galen snorts at Charlotte shaking his head

She shot Galen a look, telling him to be quiet not wanting the humans to realize they were there. She was not like her mother....

"I suppose not. They're not our rulers. And I haven't known them long enough to pass judgements..." Eliza replied, crouching by the water and dipping her fingers in as well.

"Well They aren't bad but they do make you miss humans." She said with a shrug. "See the Island out there?" Charlotte ask even thought she knew Eliza could see it


Galen gave Jessica a sly grin before turning back to the lake

She rolled her eys at Galen, also turning back to watch the humans.

"Yeah. It's pretty. But what about it?" Eliza asked, squinting to look into the distance to the island.

"There is a old legend to it." She answers with a shrug


Old legend? Galen havent hear it before

Jessica was also frowning.This was new to her too....

"Legend? How does it go?" Eliza asked, curious.

Charlotte sat crossed legged on the ground staring off into the distance. "It began with two lover's. They were truely in love. But they couldn't never meet because one was a summer fey and one was a winter fey."

She frowned as she listened. Sounded a lot like her brother now...

She sat down with Charlotte, listening attentively as she pictured the two feys together on the secluded island.

Galen turn his head as he listen. "They would meet at this Island every nightfall." She when on. "But tragic struck. Now in this time, Queen Meb was just starting out as Queen." Charlotte twirl her hair around her finger. "The two lovers didn't care that Queen Meb hated the summer fey. There is a lot of different reasons behind Meb hated of the summer fey. But anyways. The winter fey was the Queen second hand. She took care of everything from setting up balls to seeing what was happening in the town."

"And?" Eliza insisted she carry on, interested.

Charlotte laughed softly at Eliza before carrying on. "The summer fey was a fellow who was poor but loved to caused trouble. They meet in town and it was love at first sight. Everynogjt they would meet at this lake.Queen Mab saw the winter fey happnies and sent a maid to see why she was so happy. When Queen Mab found out it was a man she didn't care since she had no idea he was summer. People say Queen Mab was a different queen when she started her rule. So anyways as time wore on the maid who found the lover noticed something off about the summer fey..,........"

Jessica listened to the story, she had to admit it was pretty interesting, and a bit strange....

"What was it?" Eliza asked, wondering as she began to pluck strings of grass from the lawn.

"The summer fey was a spy." Charlotte said, she didnt say another word after that

Jessica winced a bit hearing that part. So was the summer Fey just sending all the information to Summer then? Summer and Winter had been at War for as long as anyone could remember. If they were giving over information..

"Oh," Eliza whispered quickly and melancholily, looking back at the island sadly. "Did he find out?" she asked, knowing the answer.

"Yes, the winter fey was lost heart broken.Some say the winter fey when mad and its ghost still haunts the island. Other says the summer fey gave up his court to be with the winter fey."

"How sad..." Eliza whispered, recalling the dilemma their prince was in at the moment. "I'd prefer to believe that they lived together in the winter fey court."

Whp was this fey? She wondered to herself. What really happened?

Charlotte shrugs. "I prefer to believe that also. If that the ending you like here what people say. The lovers ghost guard that island and watched over anyone who visit it."

"Should we let the party-goers visit? Does everyone know this legend?" she asked.

"No not everyone knows. It was lost in the ages." Charlotte said just answering the last question


Galen looks at Jessica. "You hear about this before?"

Jessica shook her head. "Never." She whispered back, frowning. It was interesting though....what had really happened?

Eliza huffed and looked back at the island. It suddenly took a dreary and dark look instead of a pleasant and cheery one it had before in her eyes.

Galen watched the human before sighing. "Wonder what happen?" He ask the question everyone wanted to here.


Charlotte followed her glaze at the island before standing up.

Eliza stood up as well and looked at Charlotte. "Anyways, I think the lake is an appropriate avenue for the party. We'll need to go and arrange other things."

Jessica shook her head at Galen's question. She wasn't sure. And the only pperson she could think to ask was her mother. And that was a bad idea....

Charlotte had a far off glaze but nods and replies. "You right, we will need tables or should they eat on blankets on the ground?" She ask


Galen sighs and bites his lip

"I think blankets on the ground is more charming...and how about lanterns or fairy lights overhead in the trees?" she wondered.

She glance back at her. "That sounds like it going to be a lovely evening."

"Yep. Pretty much, Eliza agreed, nodding as she wiped her pants and hands of the grass.

"Oh do you want to see a picture of the princess date?" She ask

That made Jessica sit up a little straighter again. She wanted to see this guy.....

"Oh definitely!" Eliza chirped, entirely excited once more.

Charlotte grins a little and look around for her bag that she put down before sitting down

Eliza scampered over and leaned over Charlotte's shoulder, trying to peek at the picture before she showed it. "I bet he's handsome!"

Jessoca woshed she was in a bettwr position to se ot. But theen again sje did have the illusion over her tp look onvisible....maybr......

Charlotte giggles and grabs her bag and pulled out the picture. "He is." She holds the picture out for her to see it

Jessica kept the illusion over herself to look invisible and started forward, wanting to see this.
