I know sometimes some of them get a bad rep because of the fact some of the spam groups incessantly. However, there are some really great authors that are on GR. What are some of your favorite authors that you've discovered on Goodreads? Also, I knew we have a few out there..but are any of you Goodreads Authors?

I haven't really read too many GR authors but there are a few that are on my tbr list.

To find Goodread authors go here--http://www.goodreads.com/author . You will also know if it is a Goodreads author if it has a star next to the author's name.

Bree (breezybaby) | 144 comments I think there are quite a few good GR authors. I know that Sarah Dessen in one, Neil Gaimain, Emily Griffin, etc.

I haven't discovered any new ones yet.

Kelsey Baguinat (kelseybaguinat) So far, I've discovered two: Michael Sullivan and Bryce Anderson. Michael Sullivan wrote The Crown Conspiracy, which is an awesome adventure type fantasy novel. It's the first in a six part series (at least I think it's six...) The second one just came out called Avempartha. Bryce Anderson wrote a novel called Body of Knowledge, which is also pretty awesome.

I think Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite Goodreads authors along with Laurie Halse Anderson. Ellen Hopkins is also now a Goodreads author! And DEFINITELY Audrey Niffenegger.

One lesser known author that I am currently reading is Gretchen Craft Rubin. I won a book of hers through GR giveaways and I'm enjoying it.

Katerina | 252 comments One GR author that I've enjoyed lately is Lisa See.

I have found a few hidden gems around here that are Goodreads authors-- Maureen Johnson & Lisa Schroeder

Matthew If you like books you will LOVE the Thursday Next series, starting with The Eyre Affair (which just happens to be my entry for the next group read).

Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl.com (miss_jana) | 125 comments I discovered Rachel Rager by way of another group here on Goodreads and I absolutely loved her book, By Love or By Sea. It was a sweet, clean, historical romance and every once in a while, I need a little of that to brighten my day! She's wonderful and I hope she writes more in the future.

Sounds interesting! Looks like a good option for the Spring/Summer challenge because she has only written one book!
