SO we know there are always comparisons between books and movies in adult movies... but what about in kids.

I was unaware of the huge discrepancies between Disney's version of the fairy tales, and the traditional ones. The traditional stories are SO violent, and do not end with "...and they lived happily ever after." I learned of the old tales in a university class, and was shocked at how bloody and cruel they are. Originally fairy tales were told to teach lessons, and often very hard ones. I think Disney has taken that purpose and twisted it around so young kids today have ridiculous expectations about relationships.
