Supernatural (the show and the books) discussion

Summary: Dean is attacked by Jinn and wakes in an alternate reality where his mom is alive, Sam is in law school, and everything seems great. But wait, there is a paranormal problem. Dean keeps seeing a weird girl in white.

Review: I love this one! I know I say that a lot, but this is so awesome. Love it when Dean makes a big deal out of mowing the lawn. He has made snide remarks about shooting himself if he had to grow up in a 'normal' home, but we all know he years for it. Also love it that his girlfriend is from a beer ad. lol

Fav Lines:
Dean: Can I mow the lawn?
Mom: You want to mow the lawn? Go ahead. Knock yourself out. You'd think you never mowed a lawn in your life.

Dean: Bitch.
Sam: I'm trying to help you. Why are you calling me a bitch?
Dean: You're supposed to say jerk. Never mind.

Jessica (Dean hugging her): Can't breathe.

Sam: I see you've started off Mom's birthday with a bang as usual.

Sam: What is going on with you? What's with the warm, fuzzy, ecstasy trip?

Dean (on the phone with Sam): The Jinn attacked me.
Sam: You're drinking gin?

Guest stars: Loved seeing both the mom and Jessica again.

Favorite Moments:
1. Love watching Dean mow a lawn. funny
2. The end when the mom comes out of the shadows and Dean knows for a fact it's not real. It's a beautiful, bittersweet moment.
3. Love it that one of the pics in Dean's apartment is of Carmen in her beer ad. I never noticed that before.
4. Love how Dean keeps looking at Sam and Jessica, and he's so happy for them.

Noteworthy: Interesting how Dean's perfect life includes his dad being gone. I don't think Dean's mind could imagine his dad as a non-hunter. He couldn't see him in the role of family man. Hmm.

Yeah, and Sam makes me mad sometimes because he doesn't seem to understand or appreciate the fact. The audience sees how Dean would do anything for him and why Dean feels like it's his job to take care of Sam, but Sam doesn't get it. Sometimes I want to smack him. :)

Yes. Exactly. Once in a while he will tell Dean he knows how much he's sacrificed for him or he'll thank Dean, but other times he yells at Dean and says he doesn't need him, that he's not a child. Do you know who says that? A child. lol
