The book I'm reading is Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps. The parts that I would include are Chris Jericho's historical matches. I would also include a 1 on 1 interview with Jericho.and also have his old opponents say something about Jericho. I wouldn't exclude anything from the book. The protagonist would obviously be Chris Jericho. And there would be several antagonist's that would be Jericho's previous opponents. I would show the top matches of Jericho. My target audience would be wrestling fans or Chris Jericho's jerichohaliks. I would hook the audience by showing some highlights of Jericho's matches in the attitude era.
The book I am reading is Fake Me a Match by Lauren Barnholdt. The parts I would include are when Blake and Avery meet. Also when Blake and Avery both meet Sam and when the ruin their wedding dresses. The plot I would use in the movie is at school and home. The character I would use as the protagonist is Zendaya Coleman. The reason I would use Zendaya is because she is a good actress. She also brings the emotion of the character into her face and body. No matter how many lines she never fails to impress me.There is no antagonist in my book. The supporting character would be Ariana Grande as Blake. I think that she is a good actress because she has to act as a friend and in Sam and Cat, she uses her body to express her emotions. The target audience would be students going into middle school or students that are already in middle school. Moments that I would include in the trailer are when Blake and Avery meet. The reason is it was the most important part of the book without this happening their would not be problems with Sam. Another part would be when Blake and Avery ruin their wedding dresses because that is a very important problem in the book and it is one of the main problems that will draw people in to wanting to see the movie. Also when Sam kisses Avery because Blake and Avery both like Sam and that is drama that will draw people because they will be interested to see if they will fight or what will happen next. Another moment I would use is when Avery changed the matchmaking results.
I'm Reading Unkillable. The book is rather short, and has some extra scenes in the book that would probably be cut out if it. The largest parts would be the murder, making of the deal and wake up, the club shootout, meeting the voodoo girl, and the finale. I'm not really sure about actors, so I won't name anybody, but the protagonist should be relatively normal looking and can be seen making rude, yet funny remarks. The villain would be some one who resembles a rat. The book's pretty graphic, so its rating might be pg-13 or maybe even R depending on how its filmed. The only scene I want to make sure is in the trailer is when the character wakes up after being killed, its the most catching/ interesting one.
I currently just finished To Kill a Mockingbird so I'll answer based on this.1. I believe that most parts would still be included though some less important parts with Dill could be left out. I would also defiantly emphasize the trial.
2. Casting this would be hard as Scout and Jem do grow up a lot thought the book, and getting a 14/15 year old to look 8 is "fun!"
3. If the book was cleaned up it could be g13, as the subject matter isn't exclusive to young adults and adults.
4. I would add the stark differences between the two communities, such as the differences between the churches and the treatment of Tom.
The book that I will do this discussion on is Spring Snow1.I would include almost all of the parts in the book, possibly excluding some of the religious monologues that appear.
2. I do not know any actors by name. However, Japanese people would probably be best in the parts.
3. The target audience would probably be anyone who is interested in Japan or it's culture.
4. I would include some of Kiyoaki's dream sequences in the trailer. The book is not very dramatic, but it has some dramatic scenes. I would probably have some shots of Kiyoaki sick in bed as well.
The book I'm reading is Percy Jackson's The Lightning Theif. It has already been made into a movie, which I loved. 1. I would emphasize the part of the plot of his journey from New York to Los Angeles and all of the challenges that he faced. I would probably exclude the part when Percy has his dreams. I wouldnt completely exclude them but in the movie I feel that they were too long.
2. For the casting, I actually dont know who I would choose. Percy is kind of this weird teenager but is still very strong. Annabeth is this powerful, intelligent, wise young woman, and grover is a small satyr.
3. The target audience would probably be first Percy Jackson lovers, then people that like greek mythology. But I feel mostly kids would want to see this movie.
4. I would put the most fighting scenes into the trailer because people like action. But I think I would incorperate a part where it shows some comedy like when Percy and Grover get bullied at his old school.
The book I am now reading, but almost finished is Perfect by Ellen Hopkins1. I would emphasize the different point of views and how people may grow to feel like family to these characters. I would probably exclude all the pointless chit chat.
2. For the casting, I actually don't know... Maybe people that can really relate to these roles.
3. The target audience would probably anyone who has been pained by things in any on the books by Ellen Hopkins
I would really want to include the scenes between Cara and Sean and when Andre met Jenna's father and he started going crazy. I would want to include these because they are really intense moments in the book that leaves you like OMG.
The book I am reading is Night. If Night was made into a movie I would emphasize the struggle the Narrator went though when they were in concentration camp.
As the Jewish narrator trapped in concentration camp I would cast Asa Butterfeild because he is an amazing teenage actor and I would want to see how he would act in the context. I would cast Harrison Ford as Elie Wisle's father. Harrison ford is known for transforming into is characters, so I would want to see what he would do in this scenario.
The target audience would be people who like touching, biography's.
In the trailer I would make sure that the first night when Elie steps off the train and sees the children being burned because this is a touching moment. Another part that would be in the trailer is when Elie was separated from his mother because it is very upsetting. The whole point of the trailer is to have the viewer touched and also wanting more. For that reason through the whole trailer I would want Asa Butterfeild (playing Elie Wisle) to read in a suspenseful hushed tone "Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, that turned my life into one long night seven times sealed. Never shall I forget that smoke. Never shall I forget the small faces of children whose bodies I saw transformed into smoke under a silent sky. Never shall I forget those flames that consumed my faith forever. Never shall I forget the nocturnal silence that deprived me for all eternity of the desire to live. Never shall I forget those moments that murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to ashes. Never shall I forget those things even were I condemned to live as long as God himself. Never” And then the whole trailer just fads.
The book i am reading is Play their hearts out. If i would put this book into a movie, some parts i would focus on is, finding Walker (the main character), the nationals game when they lost their first game to the best team in the west coast, and part when kellers wife has a baby across the country, but decides to stay to teach his kids (which they lost). Also i would include when Walker gets into college, and into the Nba. This movie, should target ALL ages that want to view the movie, since the book is about a kid growing up.
Reading BEHEMOTH by Scott Westerfeld :3(Or rather, just finished it)
~This'll be a movie spanning the First two books of the series. The third book can go hang itself (On the bookshelf where I will read it later)! :>
1) I would emphasize the suspense of Alek's chase through the Austrian wilds, the danger of being discovered, the desperation of the Stormwalker crew as they try to scavenge for spare parts for them to keep moving. I would also focus on the action and the whole technicality of the universe to give viewers as much insight to the World Of LEVIATHAN as possible (lots of shots of the interiors of the HMS Leviathan, the stormwalker, etc). I also want to emphasize the amount of distrust between Alek's Austrian troops and the British Airmen on the Leviathan in the beginning, to their eventual trust and friendship towards the very end.
2) I'd hire someone else to do the casting QwQ.
3)The target audience would be for tweens and Early to middle aged Teens, say...12-16 or 17..?
4) I would use scenes of the scene where Alek discovers his parents were murdered, his Stormwalker being chased through the forest by a giant Land Dreadnought, the attack on the Leviathan and its crash landing in the alps, the scene where Alek and Deryn first meet, the flight to Istanbul and the encounter with the Anti-Aircraft Tesla Cannon, the Separation in Istanbul, and the Revolution in Istanbul.
Im reading a new book called Blood Is Thicker by Paul Langan.1) The parts that i would exclude from this book is the main parts that are boring and parts that mioght not make sense in a movie.
2) The person that i would make as the protagonist would be Amberlynn. The antonist that I would make would be Tyray. The cast as the supporting characters would be amberlynn's friends and Darrell.
3) The target audience that i would do for this film would be foor people that like drama and teen book also people that like to read books about nullying in school and people turning their back on their own friends/family.
4) I would like to start the hook off with one of the main parts that would be a main prt in the film like a part of it also just do a creative part that would get someones attention and that would get to veiw the movie and read the book.
The book I am reading is A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin.1.) I would include the major plot points including Arya's journey back to Winterfell, John Snow's adventures in the Night's watch, Renly's death and the battle of King's Landing. I would try to clarify what is going on so as not to confuse the watcher, because this book has many plot points and characters and may become overwhelming.
2.) I would not have one protagonist, because there are a multitude of main characters in the book. These would include John Snow, Bran Stark, Arya Stark, and Tyrion Lannister. There is not a single antagonist, but the Lannisters as a whole would fill this role. I am not sure who I would cast in these positions, because I can't think of anyone who could fill the roles.
3.) My target audience for this movie would be adults, not children. This is because I do not want to try to cut back for a pg-13 rating in order to stay true to the books which can be very graphic.
4.) In the trailer, I would include the conflict between the four kings fighting for dominance over westeros. I would also include the conflict of the Others creeping closer to the wall and threatening human kind. Additionally, I would show key battle scenes with Arya, and Bran's dreams of being a wolf.
I am reading The Mark of Athena.1. I would make the movie exactly like the book, because i hate when they are different. Then people watch the movie (who never read the book) and claim the know the story.
2.Probably whoever fits the age group. But makeup would have to be used because some character traits are emphazized in the book such as green eyes for Percy, or grey eyes for Annabeth.
3. My target audience is anyone who read the book. I hate when people see a movie and claim they know the story, especially when the movie is not like the book.
4. I would include the plot of the book, some monsters, and some action shots to hook the viewer.
I am reading End of the Golden Witch
I would emphasize the struggle for the family gold and the head of the family. I would also show flash back scenes to let people know what happened before hand to help them keep track of the story if they haven't seen the other shows or books.
Protagonist: Most of the humans INCLUDING Erika, Bernkastel.
Antagonist: Eva Beatrice, Beatrice, Furniture working for Beatrice.
People over the age of 17
I would show the witches, some close to death scenes because the move will be very violent.
I'm reading the book the House of Hades, & if I were to make it into a movie I wold put less info into the beginning because it's in a series will have movies prior to it explaining all of that & I would put more emphasis on the conclusion as to make it more suspenseful. I don't know any actors. Teh target audience would be people who have read the book. I would put quotes so that people who read teh book would get hooked & also all of the suspenseful parts.
The book I'm reading is Fahrenheit 451. The book is rather long so a lot might be cut out in the final draft. The parts I would include are the speech Beatty gave Montage about how bad books are, Faber and Montage's discusion on how books are good and the sean where Faber gives him the radio in order to let him help Montage fight off Bettys controlling words and of corse the finally. I know about absolutely no modern actors but the actor playing Montage would need to look like a modern day fire fighter and the guy playing faber would need to look ancient. My target audience would be people who read the book and want to see it in a movie incarnation. The trailer would be nothing but a book slowly burning and Beatty's speech on why books are bad.
I am reading The Way of Shadows.1. I would emphasize on the journey of Azoth. I would show the challenges he has to endure to become one of the best assassins like his master.
2.
Protagonist would be a pre-teen around the age of 10-12 and then later somebody that is very lean but muscular.
Antagonist would be a group of evil villainies.
3. The movie would be an action movie.
4. I would show the main character and some fighting parts for the trailer.
I am reading The Stranger1. I would emphasize when the protagonist kills the man and the trial. I would exclude the first half because it is pretty slow.
2. The protagonist would be the Mr. Mersault and the antagonist would be the enemy lawyers.
3. My target audience would be adults.
4. I would show the main character and all the suspenseful parts.
1. What parts of the plot would you emphasize, and what parts would you exclude? 2. Who would you cast as the protagonist, and who as the antagonist; who would you cast as the supporting characters? Why would you make these casting decisions?
3. Who would your target audience be for this movie?
4. Finally, how you would hook your target audience through the trailer? What moments in the book would you want to make sure were included in the trailer, and why would you want to include these?
1.In the plot of my Bluest Eye movie I'd incorporate the emphasis on classism and also racism. I'd exclude most of the lewd and explicit behavior from the milder characters.
2. As the protagonist I'd hire actress Sanaa Lathan, she plays the role of the innocent character well. I'd hire Halle Berry as the antagonist because she's not afraid to be rude when needed. All African-American Costars just to emphasize on our presence at the time.
3. African-American people that would like to hear about there history.
4. The visuals of racism and classism and how we where depicted would be my hook.
1. The parts of my plot that I would emphasize is the struggle and stress that Anne Frank and all the other refugees had to suffer. I would make it crucial that what happened was a very real thing and that we can only feel sympathy and sorrow. 2. Well as Anne Frank I would hire Isabelle Fuhrman because I can imagine her being in a movie from the 1940s. As Adolf Hitler I would hire Martin Wuttke. I personally think he did a good job as Hitler in Inglorious Bast*rds.
3. The target audience is anyone. I think anybody could acknowledge, appreciate, understand and like to learn about a different perspective of the Holocaust despite all of the history books.
4.The moments of the book I would hook in is just a scene of the Nazis parading around the streets of Germany. Instantly that would get the attention of many. And then just show really sad scenes.
How would you make the book you're reading into a movie (answer this even if the book you're reading has already been made into a movie). 1)I would emphasize the main problem, and characters background.I would excluse the seeting.
2)Supporting characters ar,Asa Butterfield,bailee Madison,China Anne,jacob Latimore,Rico Rodriguez.The protagonist is Ross Lynch, and antagoinst is Jeffrey Jones.
3) It a family movie, so all ages
4)In the trailer it would start all the well known actors, then hit the audience with action, and comedy back and forth.
