Anybody have a sleeper hit to recommend? Something currently off the grid?

I don't see a lot of people talking about Dan Simmons' Summer of Night right now but mostly due to it being an old book. Still Recommend it tho.
@John, I really loved Summer of Night! It had sort of an old-school Stephen King feel to it (only better hehe). There's also a sequel called A Winter Haunting that's pretty good. Well, SORT of a sequel.
