I really like them. There are a few editing issues because I think she was self-published at first, but I LOVE the characters. Plus, hot hockey boys. =)
They're good for a chuckle, some drama, and some romance. My main complaint is the plot is similar in the first few - girl that won't let go, guy that's head over heels almost from day one. It finally flips around a bit somewhere in the 3rd? 4th book? She listened to her fans and changed it up for us. I remember reading one of them while at the gym. I had to get off the elliptical and sit in a corner because I couldn't stop crying (book 3?). It's one of those books where even though the girls might drive you a little batty in the beginning, once they settle down you love them.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments I've read the first 2. I went the audio route with the first one and the narrator bothered me because I had listened to others by her and they were drama NA books and I couldn't get that out of my head. Elli sense of self bothered me too. I hated how she almost ruined things.

I read the second and hated how Fallon kept the drama high.

I'll keep reading because there is something there, but I hope the drama gets less.

That was my only complaint with them. Besides some spelling. It seems like she starts to listen to her fans as the books go on and she tempers a bit of the crazy, or brings it in from outside sources. I wrote a big rant about it after book 3. Book 4 she finally changes things up a bit. Book 3 was emotional though. I also cringed at a word she used in book 3 and she hasn't used it since. She reads everything we review on her books and I like that she doesn't get huffy about it. She takes it in and if enough people comment and make sense, she adjusts. If they're crazy she just ignores them. It's weird because you can see a TON of potential there, but it just needs some refining. I think with the girls being so stubborn it's a good idea to space these out a bit. They aren't as in your face if you're not reading them all in a row.
