A stand-alone.

Zahara Cerise cares about alien existential angst (zaharacerise) I'm going to be listening to this one on Librivox. It sounds good.

It's delightful. You will love it!

Zahara Cerise cares about alien existential angst (zaharacerise) I'm on Chapter 5 of my listening to Jack and Jill. I just love it!

Zahara Cerise cares about alien existential angst (zaharacerise) I finished Jack and Jill. I really loved most of it. I found it got kind of preachy/moralizing about the last fourth and lost the lovely interaction between Jack and Jill. But overall, it was a great story.

It is interesting - this is the first time that I've ever really taken note of Alcott's heavy-handed moralizing. Maybe because I'm reading a number of them in a row?

I love her characters and her stories, but her insistence on shoving the moral down the readers throat detracts from the enjoyment, and, worse, it is unnecessary. We can all get her point without the explicit passages. I think that a more subtle approach would be more effective, actually.
