It definitely pulled me in at the beginning enough to keep me wanting to read more. I know nothing about Hinduism and find Maya's experiences interesting. I am half way through however and am finding the meld of fiction and reality a bit awkward. So it helps to look at this solely as fiction for me.
I can understand that. I've asked her what category she believes it should be in. She has said autobiographical fiction because she has only seen one angel.

Definitely! By the end of the first chapter I knew I'd be finishing the entire series! It is a very intriguing read!
I'm starting this tomorrow! Just got my books , I can't wait to start. I have heard nothing but good things about this series!
