Once Upon A Time-[Advanced Roleplay] discussion

All throughout the four story school, the hallways and staircases can be a maze to new students. With wooden floors, and winding staircases with brick walls, it's always fun getting around.

Ella was walking along the corridor a little lost. She had no idea where she was. She tried looking for familiar paintings or pictures on the walls but everything seemed to look the same. She sighed and sat down on the floor. There was no point in wondering around only to get herself more lost than she already was.

"Yes I am. Do you think you could help me? I'm a bit lost," she replied getting up. She brushed loose strands of her blonde hair away from her face. She felt a bit embarrassed as the only clothes she owned were rags. She hoped no one made fun of her because of it. She also hoped her stepsisters did not turn up at this school out of the blue but that was something completely different.

"No I wasn't, I found out about through a one of the servants. Okay. What's the headmistress like?" she asked nervously. She felt a little more reassured now but knowing her luck the very people she didn't want to see would turn up somewhere. She tried to hide the state of her dress but to no luck.

Ella nodded and sat down opposite her. "Okay. So what would you like to know about me. I'm not that interesting honestly. My name is Ella and yours?" she asked. She hoped this girl was nice and not like her stepsisters and stepmother. She never wanted to see them again but knew she had too as they were her legal guardians.

Ella giggled. She hoped she could make a new friend. "Lady Ella Cinder's or just Ella," she replied using her formal title that her stepmother was trying to get taken away from her as she wanted Ella to be as downtrodden as possible. She took the other girls hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you," she said.

"Umm England, near Lincoln, What about you? and sky blue?" she asked curiously. What did the colour blue have to do with where she lived. It was a pretty colour and probably one of her favourites but she also liked pink and pale purple. She wished she had nice clothes and the money to buy them with.

"Sounds nice and Umm if you say so. Thank you for lending me some clothes. It's okay," she said. She wasn't sure about jeans, they were for men weren't they no girl wore trousers or at least that's what her stepmother had told her and her stepsisters. She had never worn heels and was a little afraid she would fall over.

"It's not that I don't like your clothes more the fact I have never worn heels so I'm afraid I will fall over or something. I hope so and I hope everyone is nice. Have you met anyone else yet?" she asked smiling. She did not want to have to socialise with people like her stepsisters.

"Thank you. Handsome princes? I wish one of them would go for me," she said sighing. She would never get a guy. She was a servant and that was all she would ever be. No self respecting man would go out with a servant or marry one. She brushed her hair out of her eyes.

((Yes he's snotty :) and Okay :) tell me when :) ))

"There might be but a prince would never go for me, it's impossible and your already betrothed, that would be a nightmare for me. What happens if they aren't very nice or they were stuck up snobs who didn't care about anyone but themselves," she said. Even through it wouldn't matter for her as she would never get married. Her stepmother would make sure of that.

Philip walked down the corridor and over heard Aurora's comment. "Who's not here right now?" he asked smirking. He recognised the girl from some pictures his mother had shown him of his betrothed. She was pretty but nothing special in his eyes. He looked to the other girl and turned away once he saw what she was wearing.


"I wish you were right but it will never happen and I guess your right about that one. But won't he be angry if he finds out you have been looking at other guys," she said curiously. She didn't want to think anymore about her love life that would never happen. She jumped when she heard a voice come out of the shadows. She hoped they were friendly.

"Prince Philip," he said haughtily. He had heard part of their conversation and was not happy. He was not going to have his betrothed looking at other men and ruining his reputation. He would not allow it. She would respect and honour him like any good fiancée/wife should.

Ella smiled politely at the Prince and turned back to Aurora. "That might not be such a good idea. What if he tells your parents. I can't imagine they would be very happy with you," Ella said concerned. She didn't want her new friend getting into trouble because of something so simple.

"Yes my dear and as for what I'm doing here, I go to school here." he said smirking. He did not like the tone in her voice. How dare she speak to him like that. He was a prince she should respect him. When they got married he was going to do something about that. He couldn't have a wife that disrespected him.

Ella sighed. This was exactly what she was afraid of, she thought the prince would kick up a fuss. She also wasn't surprised he was ignoring her after all what man wanted to talk to a girl in rags who was little more than a servant. She wished her mother never died and none of this happened.

"Talk to me later? I'm not some servant you can brush aside. The only servant here is her. That reminds me you should not be talking to someone below your station it is unbecoming," he said arrogantly. He did appreciate the way she was speaking to him at all. She should be polite.

Ella just looked between them wishing she could disappear. She hated arguments. "It doesn't matter Aurora, finish talking to him and then finish your conversation with me," she said quietly. She was used to people like this who thought they were better than everyone else but she wasn't about to stand up to him.

Philip smirked. "How about no. You have no right to boss me around," he said angrily. He would not be told what to do by a girl. Girls were there to obey men and look pretty nothing else. He glared at Ella. "Leave, go back to the servant quarters or wherever you came from" he said to her.

Ella looked a little lost. She didn't know what to do. This man scared her but there must be something good in him. He couldn't be evil. The only people she knew that had no heart were her so called family. "No" she said quietly. She was a student at this school the same as he was she would not let herself get pushed around.

Philip grabbed her arm. "Where do you think your going? I haven't finished talking to you," he said. He would put a stop to her associating with riff raff like the servant girl she was insisting was her friend. He would not put up with being spoken to or treated like this. She was his fiancée and she would learn some respect.


Ella looked between them. "Okay," she said in response to Aurora. Future dorm mate? Aurora wanted to share a dorm with her. That was nice of her. She didn't realise the other girl thought of her as a friend already even through they had only had one conversation. She hoped her and the prince would settle this without too much arguing.

((This whole Philip and Aurora thing reminds me of some James and Lily fanfic's I have read :) ))

Philip smirked and turned back down the corridor. He was quite pleased with himself. He would make the girl obey him and she wouldn't dare disrespect him any longer. He was the prince of a power country not some servant boy.

Ells let her drag her away. She felt sorry for her friend having to marry that prick. "I'm sure its not all bad. He may have a soft caring side. That arrogance may be just an act. Maybe he's been hurt before and acts like that so no one gets close to him. All you have to do is be patient and break down his walls," she said trying to comfort her friend.

"Okay" Ella said smiling. She wondered where the fairies came from and where they lived as she hadn't seen anything in the school too suggest they lived there. She hoped the headmistress when seeing the state of her clothes wouldn't say there had been a mistake and send her home again.

"Yep. Mainly Taylor Swift. What about you?" she asked smiling. She still felt a little self conscious about her clothing but wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. She hoped she could make some new friends at this school and leave her past behind her at least until she graduated.

"Yeah. It is really good but my favourites have too be Come Back Be Here or I Almost Do. Have you heard them? If you haven't you really should. They are really good." she said smiling. So both her and Aurora seemed to have the same taste in music. She looked around at the paintings on the wall and briefly wondered who they were of. Were they past students or just random people.

"I love singing. I also love to dance but I don't really get much chance to," she said smiling. She wondered if her friend liked to sings and dance as well. She also hoped the other students did not treat her like a servant girl and bossed her around a lot.

"I know right and as for me not getting much chance to dance it is because I was always so busy at home," she said. She wasn't about to tell her friend the whole truth as she didn't want to be treated differently and she was afraid her friend would hate her for being little more than a servant girl.

"Nope. Have you?" she asked smiling. Her family never let her out of the house and none of the male servants were even close to her age. They were all a lot older than her. She wished she could be a normal teen or that her parents were still alive so she didn't have to deal with all of this.

"Nope nobody," she said. She probably would have had a couple of crushes if it wasn't for her stupid family. Sometimes she wished she could get rid of them but she shook the thought from her head. It wasn't very nice of her. Everyone had to have something good about them.

"Hmm maybe. So what's your favourite colour?" she asked. She wanted to know a little more about her friend and she didn't want anymore questions based on her home life. She didn't want to be pitied or looked down on.

"Pink, blue and lilac. Hmm favourite food?" she asked smiling. She wished she could afford to buy some clothes in those colours as they would look a lot better than her rags.

Odette walked down the hallway humming. She didn't know where she was going but didn't really care. She only had a year left to live her life She hoped she could met her true love before that year was up.

"Italian food of any description. Hi," she said shyly to the other girl. She didn't get much chance to eat what she wanted at home but when there were left overs the other servants gave them to her as they felt it unfair that the lady of the house had been reduced to a servant.

Odette smiled at them. "Hello. I am Odette and you are," she said extending her hand. Her words were formal but friendly. She hoped she could make a couple of friends.

"I wasn't going to but now I think I might have to," she said. She wasn't sure if the headmistress new about her condition or not. If she didn't it was best to inform her of it. She sometimes wished she hadn't helped that young man and then she wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.

Ella shook her hand. "Ella Cinders and yes that's a good idea Aurora" she replied smiling. This girl seemed friendly like Aurora was so maybe she could make another friend.

"Oops I forgot sorry Rora," she replied smiling. Ella sat on one of the desks and looked around. The room wasn't very interesting and it looked like it had been an old English room or something. She had never been to school before so she hoped she wasn't too far behind the rest of her class mates.

"Thank you" Odette replied as she followed the other 2 girls. Odette sat down carefully on one of the chairs that were scattered all over the place in the room. For a classroom it wasn't very tidy.

"Yes I am. Have you been here long?" she replied. She hated being the student and having to make a whole new group of friends again. But she also wondered if it would be okay for her to make friends because of her curse. She sighed. She wished she hadn't angered the witch who had cursed her.

Ella smiled at Odette but stayed silent. She wasn't very good at speaking to people. She was surprised she had spoken to Rora and managed to make friends with her.

"I am from France what about you guys?" she asked trying to make her language less formal. She wasn't used to speaking English yet. She also hoped her English wasn't to accented as she had been bullied for it before.

Ella smiled. "I'm from England," she replied. She wasn't going to mention anymore about her life if anyone asked. She did not want pity or sympathy.

* a small fairy appears and tells the two ladies that the blue fairy will see them now *

"No I didn't. I wonder who I am sharing with. I hope they are nice." she said. She wasn't going to share why she wanted to see the headmistress as it was private and she didn't want any pity form anybody.

Ella saw the fairy ant took the note. "Looks like the headmistress is ready to see us," she said looking at Rora. She hoped the headmistress was nice.

"Let's try it," Ella said getting out the pouch and sprinkling fairy dust over both of them. She hoped this worked as she had no ideas on what to do with it if it didn't. She felt a little strange now.

((Just go into the headmistress' office. Its open))

Robin had been walking around aimlessly, looking everywhere possible, there was so much to see. He turned the corner and THUMP, hit someone. They yelled at him and he stood up quickly, "Terribly sorry madam! I didn't see you there." He held out his hand to the girl who was now sprawled on the ground.

Robin smiled at her kindly, "You look dressed for battle!" He exclaimed obliviously. He was so used to the olden age dressing of his village that everything else seemed like combat gear to him. He shook Rosalie's tiny hand in his rough one and grinned, "My name is Robin." He took off his hat and did a small bow, "Or you can call me Fox, either works."

Robin grinned even wider, "Rosalie? Well ain't that a lovely name for a lovely lady." He said with a slight accent. "It sounds like rose, and everyone knows that roses are the prettiest flowers." He exclaims, then winks at Rosalie.

Robin smiled happily, "Yes, but I always thought the ones with a bit of a dangerous side were the prettiest of all." He winked at her. "Rosalie, what are you doing at this.... odd school?" He asked curiously. Robin had been sent to the school by a couple adults in his gang, to 'protect' him, as they called it. Robin saw it more as punishment.

Robin grinned even wider, "I always, want to see someone's dangerous side." He whispered to her. "That's always the better side." Robin quickly changed tones to a bright, cheerful voice. "Well, if they think it will help us! I'm sure it will!"

((Nope!))

Robin smiled and put his hands on his hips, "Well darling Rose, where were you headed off to in such a hurry? Surely I must have taken a lot of your time!" He said worriedly. He didn't want to cause anyone any grief.

((That would be adorable! But it would have to build up a bit, like making them friends that flirt??))

Robin laughed and crossed his arms across his chest, "Not always! See? They're not on my hips now!" He said happily. He looked at her curiously at the mention of a computer, "I've heard of those devices.... But we do not have them in my village!" He explained to her.

"It is a small village called Nottingham!" He explained to her, "It has only around 300 citizens, including the castle." He let her drag him down the hall, "You have a strong grip." He pointed out, "Why are you not a soldier?" He asked curiously. "Except for the fact that all the men would be drooling over you."
