Am I the only one that is absolutely appalled by Ava's behavior in this book???

i wanted to love it because i actually really enjoyed the first book however book two was terrbile. ava comes as weak desperate and pathetic. jesse comes across as rude, mean childish and over controlling to an abusive level. he does really shitty things in book two and after the whipping scene and the reveal of cheating on her i gave up on there relationship.
book three gave answers but it was too late to save the trilogy for me.
i read it because i had pre-ordered it with book two and read it because i didn't want it sat in a box never read, not because i actually cared.
i skimmed over it and was done in about 4 hours.
jesse isn't even likable from book two, ava is just pathetic and weak, kate is a whore at a sex club being paid to shag her "boyfriend" and his best friend in a communal room with other creeps watching, john just says s'all good girl, sarah's a very extremely annoying character and then a whole load of other characters nobody gives a f**k about
the whole book from the second one screamed sleazy
if you don't even like your leads how can you how can you care about their story

I couldn't even finish it because she disgusted me so much.. she wasn't THAT young.. acting like a fucking juvenile.
I thought through the whole book she was a wishy-washy character. She was weak when she clearly needed to stand up for herself, and chose to butt heads when she really didnt need to. However, when it go to the point she drank and was pregnant, I mentally slapped my kindle. She was no longer likeable for me. EVEN IF she was going to abort it, that is NOT a reason to get drunk regardless. Take care of your body for goodness sakes!
I thought it was pretty funny when she kept running away, I loved reading about how possessive he would get and how far he would go to get her back to him!! :D
