Hey all, I'm recalling wanting some recommendations for a UF or PN book taking place in the south. I read Ruined by Paula Morris and am wanting something like that. I unfortunately do not want to read the Sookie Stackhouse Series. Any suggestions?

I know Beautiful Creatures does and Legacy of Lies & Don't Tell (I love the Dark Secrets books, I can reread them anytime!).
Well, I have a new UB released last week. It's called Scorned and set in Baton Rouge, La. It's about a former fallen angel who must save an arcane hunter from another dimension else she gets sent back to Hell.
The Gods of Midnight series by Deidre Knight mostly takes place in Savannah, Georgia. It's got immortal Spartan warriors, Greek gods, angels, demons, vampires and specially gifted humans. Pretty much anything you might want in PN with plenty of southern charm ^_^
Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm going to look them up. I have read the beautiful creatures series. Liked the books, HATED the movie.

The Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews series takes place in Atlanta.The Dark Ink Chronicles by Elle Jasper is in Savannah.
White Trash Zombie and Kara Gillian by Diana Rowland are both in Louisiana.
I'm pretty sure the Arcane Shot series by Joey W. Hill is in the south, but I can't remember where.
Also the Demon Hunting series...very funny books! The first one is
Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin series, Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series, the afore mentioned Kate Daniels series.
The Graveyard Queen series - starts with
Molly Harper's Nice Girls series takes place in Kentucky I think. It is more toward the PR but some characteristics of UF
The Savannah Chronicles by Raven Hart. It's about vampires/voodoo. I was saddened when the series ended. The first book is Vampire Seduction, I think. It's been years since I've read it. Let me know what you think if you decide to read it. Cheers!!!
