"Sparrow Migrations" by Cari Noga is a fantastic novel that will open your eyes about autism.Sparrow Migrations
"Tom Fleck" by Harry Nicholson is a masterpiece about the Battle of Flodden in England exactly 500 years ago.Tom Fleck
All the books I read are pretty (well more like extremely) popular, but here are two that aren't.- Joan of Arc by Michael Morpurgo
- The Deepest Cut by J.A. Templeton
I've also read both of these books by John Pansini, who is a virtually unknown but totally underrated writer with a gift for both storytelling and satire.

Derrolyn Anderson is an amazing author! I love all of her books. As a matter of fact I have a giveaway for two of her books on my book blog:http://thoughtsofadreamer-sammy.blogs...
My favorite of her books would be the Marina Tales. :D Between the Land and the Sea is the first book in the series.

Thanks for the great tip on Derrolyn, Samantha. Looks like some cool mythology going on there.
