Alan looked down at their arms, and his cheeks burned. He followed close beside her to the rapids. "It's always so beautiful out here," he said looking at the water.

Aqua smiled at the sound of the rushing water. "Gives me time to just think. And practice ofcourse. I normally come at sunset when no one is here, but I figured I'd set aside my plans and help you out today." She gave him a lopsided grin. She was honestly thrilled to not be doing any Original related work. It put so much stress on her.

"You should be able to have time to relax and have fun. I'm sorry you have to spend your time teaching me. I'm sure you's rather be doing something else," he scratched the back of his head and squinted his eyes at the sun.

She cocked an eyebrow at him with wide eyes. "Alan. The last thing I want to do right now is discuss trade and make a decision on boundaries with Scorpio. Besides, I want to help you." She nudged his arm a bit before chuckling. "It'll be fun. By the time I'm done with you, you'll be controlling these waves in no time. Just don't mess with my trading system, this water is all we got." She said while looking around.

"I'm sure talking about trade is fun," he laughed and stepped closer to the water. "I abide by the rules. You have nothing to worry about." He reached his hand over and let water trickle into the rapids.

Aqua leaned over the water beside Alan, moving her hand gracefully back and forth. The water obediently swayed under the palm of her hand. "Do you have any questions before we start?" She asked, still toying with the water.

"I think you work too hard and push yourself too much. Why don't you ever just play sick or hand the work over to your servants or...ask another original to help you out? Libra seems friendly. I'm sure she'd love to help. I could help you. In fact, I want to." He turned to face her and touched her hand.

"The silly thing is, I like doing it. I like walking around the kingdom and knowing everyone is happy and things are running smoothly because I stayed up the night before figuring out the newest tax policy or insurance plans. The people are my priority. I don't know. It makes sense in my head." She shook her head and looked at their hands. "Thank you though. For caring and ya know, stuff like that." She gave him a warm smile.

"You sound like my grandmother..." Alan twisted his face, "I'm not calling you old or anything! My grandmother always put everyone else before herself. The thing is, Aquarius," he looked over the water and back at her, "sometimes you're more important. The things you love, you want, you need are more important than my tax return." He smiled and noticed their hands still touching. "So, what do you love, want, and need?"

With a sigh, Aquarius sat on the grass lining the rivers. "I've honestly never really thought about it. I've never focused on myself. I've just been raised to care for the needs of others. Sometimes I forget if I even have any." She confessed, taking her hands and smoothing out the grass around her, looking down at the ground.

He frowned and sat next to her. "I think it's time for you to start thinking of yourself. Forget, for a moment, that you aren't an original. You're a villager like me. What do you want?"

She let out a breath she hadnt realized she had been holding and laid back on the grass. She gave a small smile. "Nothing wrong with being a villager." She closed her eyes. "Hmm...I want to go to the beach, go apple picking, have inside jokes all with someone that I can see myself living a good life with. We'd be that cutesy couple that people ahw at and wish they could be."

((Hey I try it comes with the job of being super sarcastic and being irritated with the kids in all of my classes and people in general))

"So, why don't you try and have that? You're young, beautiful, smart, funny, and nice. You deserve the life that you want. Just because you're a high authority figure doesn't mean you have to live a boring or lonely life. If you're up for it, we could go do some of that stuff." A mischievous and excited smiled brightened his face. "It'll be fun."

She opened one of her eyes as a grin creeped up on her face. "You'd do that for me?" She sat back up on the grass.

"Of course. You deserve it, and it sounds like fun. Besides, I've been dying to meet you. Hanging out with you is like a dream come true," he chuckled slightly. "There I go again, being awkward, probably creeping you out."

She chuckled at his personality. "You don't creep me out. In fact, the complete opposite. I find you adorable." She smiled at the grass, avoiding his gaze.

      ((OTP?))
"Adorable?" His cheeks blossomed into a rosey red color. "Thank you. I think it would be improper to say Aquarius adorable, but you are very beautiful."

She grinned while her face turned a rosy pink. "Well thank you." She looked around the landscape, smoothing out her jeans. "So. Would you like to begin? Those powers won't control themselves."

"Oh, yeah. Almost forgot why we were here," Alan said before standing up and lending her a helping hand and pulling her up. "What's first, boss lady?" He smiled shyly.

((Join In The Spotlight! Ship: Andrew and Violet :D))

Aquarius chuckled and thanked him for helping her up. "Okay." She dusted off her sky blue blouse and pulled her blonde locks to one side. "First lesson: Concentration. It's really easy once you know what you want to focus on. Water is nonliving so thinking about wanting to control water is useless. Think about something you really want; one thing you can focus on." Aqua waited for him to focus.

Libra watched as Aqua tried to teach Alan how to control water. She took notes in the Aqan(ship name if Aqua+Alan) section of her Book Of Potential Couples In Horoscope, which was where she wrote down everything she saw through her telescope.

He nodded and took a deep breath. "Something I really want," he repeated. He looked up into her sparkling eyes. "Okay, I think I've got something in mind."

"Okay. Now hold onto that." She took his hand and led him over to the water. She knelt down, as he did the same. Aqua moved their hands over the water, with hers over his. "You already have the ability to control the water, now you just have to take control of that ability. Put the motion of the water next to your original thought of that thing you long for. The two combined will set your mind to make you want to control the water." She chuckled quietly and shook her head. "I'm a horrible tutor."

"No, no. You're a great teacher," he said looking at the water. He thought of what he longed for and the thought of the water moving. He looked at her from the corner of his eye.

Aquarius didn't want to accidentally control the water with her hand on top of his, so she pulled it back. Squinting her eyes, a grin widened on her face. "Alan?"

Alan saw a ripple, but it seemed to be the wind doing it. He must be doing something wrong. "Hmm?" He looked up at her, spotting the grin that caused him to grin in return.

Aqua put both her hands up in innocence. "You're doing it!" She bit her lip and looked back and forth between him and his hand. She was so excited that she actually helped someone with their powers.

"It really is me?" He looked down at the water and laughed. "Holy crap! This is awesome! Thank you." He flung his arms around her in a big, ecstatic hug.

Aqua laughed joyfully. "See? I knew you could do it!" She smiled, feeling a growing attachment to Alan. She pushed the feelings aside and just embraced his hug.

Alan pulled back to look at her and felt his breath hitch at seeing her eyes, being so close to her, and the way her hair blew in the small breeze that danced between them. "I wasn't going to get a coffee this morning. I was just going to rest and relax at home or somewhere, but then, I started walking outside and found myself at the door of the café. I'm glad, too because meeting you has been one of the best experiences of my life."

Aquarius blushed bright red and looked down, smiling. "It was amazing to meet you Alan. Thank you for finding yourself at the door of the cafe, because I really want someone like you in my life. No. I want you in my life."

Alan's heart ran up to his throat, banging against his chest on the way there. "You really mean that?" He pushed back some of her hair behind her ear. "I want you in my life too."

Aqua's heart plummeted to her stomach, suddenly nervous about what she might be getting herself into. She looked up at Alan and noticed the gleam in his eyes. "I mean it."

Alan's eyes shifted back and forth between hers and his conscience screamed at him to stop, this was wrong, but something else told him to go for it. He leaned forward and kissed her quickly before pulling back. "I'm sorry. That was wrong of me to do."

Aqua took a step back quickly. She swallowed dryly as her eyes looked everywhere but at Alan. "Don't apologize. It's not your fault. I shouldn't have-I shouldn't. I'm sorry." She began backing away. "I'm happy your powers-uhm-yea. I'm happy for you." She stuttered before turning around.
