In the novel The Collection, by Bentley Little, the author writes 32 different short scary stories. The first story, The Sanctuary, is about a religious family, but instead of believing in God the family thinks the dad is like God. And the family goes into this thing called the Rage, during the Rage they kill someone and because of that they have to sacrifice each other to pay for their sin. After they sacrifice a family member they must crucify them in the room called the Sanctuary. The second story, The Woods Be Dark, a daughter must got this place called the “bad place”, there she must complete a ritual by mating with her dead brother father. After this she gets pregnant and after the infant is born she must kill it to complete the ritual. The third story, The Phonebook Man, is about a woman who answers the door and finds a guy delivering phonebooks. He asks to use her bathroom and she lets him, but he ends up taking a shower. And when he comes out he is a different man. The fourth story, Estoppel, is about a guy who discovers that whatever his says comes true. The fifth story, The Washingtonians, about a man who finds a letter claiming George Washington is a cannibal. Because he has the letter a group of people, who follow George, Washington are after the man so he won’t expose the secret. The sixth story, Life with Father, is about a girl who lives at home with her father and sister and her father recycles everything. One day the girl and her sister are tired of it so they kill their father. The seventh story, Bob, is about a man who is visited by a group of women and they mistake him for someone else.
I don't think I did this right.
