All About Books discussion

I found this from a suggestion online and thought it looked pretty fun. It is similar to Leslie's 'Alphabet of Books You've Read' and my 'Alphabet of Authors' Names' but I thought I'd make it easier and do last names.

1) Post the name of the author whose last name begins with the next letter of the alphabet after the initial letter of the previous post.

2) Try not to repeat within the same thread.

3) Please try to link wherever possible.

4) If you have read any books by the author, feel free to say what they were.

Fannie Flagg - nice light author by whom I've read a couple delicious books: Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe; A Redbird Christmas

Neil Gaiman- here's the books I've read by him which I enjoy: Coraline, Stardust, Neverwhere, The Graveyard Book, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane . I'd like to read Fortunately, the Milk next by him. He's a pretty good author. I've read his frost giants book too.

H: Georgette Heyer One of my favorite authors - I have read and reread her historical fiction romances many times!

I recommend Mill on the Floss.

Yasunari Kawabata. I have read two books by him and both are fantastic novels. They are: Snow Country and Thousand Cranes.

Mary Alice Monroe-I read The Book Clubwhich was pretty good.

Irene Nemirovsky....Have read two books by her. They are: Le Bal & Snow in Autumn and The Wine of Solitude.

Ridley Pearson-All the Kingdom Keepers books. They are pretty good. If you like Disney, and all the theme parks, you'll enjoy the book series. The last books focus on the Disney cruise line.
