I will nominate My Kind of Christmas, (A Virgin River Novel), by Robin Carr even though I haven't read it.
@ Natalie I like to go ahead and get on the waiting list for books that people nominate in case they get picked. I got to the top of the waiting list for this one real quick. I have never read any Virgin River novels before, will that matter or will I be able to get into the book real quick?
@ Melissa you can nominate White Christmas Pie on the Amish Book Nomination. See rule # 7 above. This book read is for Christian Fiction reads that are Christmas but not Amish. Thanks You!
I nominate, A Christmas Gift for Rebecca : An Amish Christian Romance Novella With Hymns and Recipes by Sarah Price
Since it's free right now on amazon, how about The Christmas Waltz by Connie Keenan?

How about Debbie Macomber's new Christmas book Starry Night, or A Simple Christmas Wish by Melody Carlson.
@Lorie: Can you please updaet the thread to include Melissa's choice when you get the chance? Thanks.
and Melissa from message #7 (since there are two on here) did you think of something else to nominate?

But I don't think I'd consider the Virgin River series entirely clean--there's at least one sex scene and a few instances of swearing in this book, if I remember correctly. It didn't bother me, but I thought it might be worth mentioning for others.
Good to know. Thanks Rachel.
Also today is last day to nominate. Rachel will pick one tomorrow.
Also since Anna never came back, I will go with her first book she listed unless someone has a problem with this or she comes back and decides which one she wants to nominate.

I don't know why Rachel did not pick yesterday. I know she said she was having some computer problems so I'll go ahead and randomally pick the winner.
#5 The Christmas Waltz by Connie Keenan
Thanks for picking this one Barbara Ann and I think it's still free for anyone needing it.

Thanks, Lorie! I came down with a horrible cold yesterday and barely went near my computer. I don't think I actually registered what the date was until this morning.

Rules:
1. Nominations are open until the 14th of the month. I will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books must be Christian fiction, or "clean" fiction to be eligible for this read.
3. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
4. One nomination per person. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
5. Books must be the first in a series unless we have read the previous book.
6.The following books are not eligible because we have read them in past years. (See list below)
7. Please only nominate Amish Christmas books on the Amish group read. This will prevent us from reading the same book for both reads.

1.Merry's Christmas: a love story by Susan Rohrer (MB)
2. My Kind of Christmas by Robyn Carr (Natalie)
