How is a "funny historical romance novella' a bodice ripper? Did you mistakenly put your message here?
I hope I didn't make a mistake. ENCOUNTER WITH MR. BAD LUCK is a historical romance, and I thought historical romances were collectively considered "bodice rippers." I've written five other so-called "bodice rippers." Is this group only for serious or dramatic historical romances, or just full-length ones?

To be the latter you would need a rape or forced seduction---literally a scene in which the bodice is ripped off the heroine.
I understand. I just re-read the group's description, and bodice ripping is just one of the many delightful facets of the kinds of romance celebrated by the group. Books containing "aggressive and possessive heroes and spitfire heroines" are shared by the group, books which I love and write. In any case, my post is offering readers one of 13 free copies of a historical romance novella that I hope they will enjoy. Thanks for teaching me something new!
Hi Michelle, this group is for Bodice-Ripper romances and we do like to keep it as that only but under the "promotion" folder the original mod who is no longer here put a "what's this?" thread stating to put your book promotion,blog..ect of any kind here so unless our now head mod wishes to change that...
If anyone wishes to promote anything, it must all go in the Promotion folder. --Mod.
Thanks Karla for clearing that up. I think the concern Regan has is the promo folder only for bodice rippers? Or are other romances allowed?
It would help if it was only bodice rippers, but because of the subjective nature of "bodice ripper" (everyone has their own idea since it's become an all-encompassing term for romance) I've given up trying to police it. :P

Don't miss my new funny historical romance novella, ENCOUNTER WITH MR. BAD LUCK. Sometimes, bad luck can disguise something incredibly wonderful.
