BCS Great Books Conversation discussion

I think my answers to these discussion questions are and will continue to be redundant, so I do apologize for that! As a Christian, I believe that the end or purpose of any art is to glorify God. Whether the art involves a living subject or not, the artist is called to put forth his or her giftedness to accomplish the art well; there is usually a combination of skill and thoughtfulness that the artist displays in the art. I would personally argue that if an artist put a lot of thought and heart into the art, but lacked skill, it's not really very good art. If an artist had innate skill but lacked attention or intention in the art, then that would also not be very good art.
