The Steampunk, Cyberpunk, and Other Fictitious and Non-Fictitious Works Group discussion

After reading Snow Crash, Altered Carbon, and The Stars My Destination I'm trying to
find more Cyberpunk novels that combine exciting action with smart/smartly executed story telling.
Any pointers?

The Diamond Age is a good follow-up to Snow Crash.

The classic Gibsons (Burning Chrome, Mona Lisa Overdrive), though dated, might fit your brief as well.

Cargo Lock 5 (I wrote) and I agree with the above too, especially Snow Crash and Altered Carbon. Mike Murphy is on goodreads and he is an expert on this genre

Just finished reading Cypulchre. Really liked it. Next on my list: re-reading Player Piano and Gravity Fails.

Any recommends for someone madly in love with Philip K Dick?
