I think there should be a thread for authors, publishers and fans to share news of interest to readers of zombie fiction. I hope this will be it! To start it off:
I just learned that I will be in the same booth with Jonathan Maberry at the Long Beach Comic and Horror Con (Nov 23-24). We might even be on the same author panel. Hoping some of his talent and success will rub off! :)
I also set up a Facebook page for Outbreak: Visions of the Apocalypse yesterday and it got over 200 likes today. I'm proud to have been able to get contributions from 20 great authors (including Hugh Howey, Rhiannon Frater, Craig DiLouie, Shawn Chesser, John Campbell, DA Roberts, Dan Williams, Julie Rodolph, Ian Woodhead, and may more). Permuted Press reports that sales are good and we are building up donations for a good cause (www.directrelief.org). So please stop by and Like https://www.facebook.com/OutbreakAnth...
And, following the success of ApocaCon at the Long Beach Zombie Walk, we are planning ApocaCon booths at Frightmare in Dallas and World Horror Con in Portland. Things are looking up! Authors and readers unite to promote the genre here.
