Does anyone love trivia as much as me? I start every workday with a little tidbit of knowledge. If others are like me, I thought we could post them here.

Maybe you could make a game out of this. You ask a trivia question and then whoever answers it right gets to ask the next question and so on.

Here's a bit of trivia you might know - Which word has all five vowels only once and in order - AEIOU? There are at least two words (that I know of) that will work.

facetious and if you count Y as a vowel facetiously

and the other 5 vowel word is abstentious

Don't know if they still enforce this, or how they would, but:

It is against the law, in Carmel, CA to eat an ice cream cone on the sidewalk. I kid you not. It's a very touristy town, Clint Eastwood was mayor for years, and people always dropped those little papers they wrap around cones on the ground, so now, all the ice cream parlors there are eat-in only!

I love them, too. :) So it appears there are three words that work because the other word I was thinking of besides facetious is abstemious - which can also work with the "y" as abstemiously. :) And if there are three, I bet there are more as well.

I looked it up, too. You mean that's cheating?!? :) There are (at least) three words that could work for the answer. I'll have to try and remember at least one of the words so I can "just know" the answer next time someone asks. :)

I found one jokester who gave the answer "smiley" - because there is a mile between the first and last letter of the word. :) I want to remember that one, too.

This is true... I have seen it happen. Well, they turn white and kinda transparent. It's actually a funny looking fish after this!

This is very true. My brother had a bunch of goldfish and they turned white except one. And this one kept getting bigger and bigger. I came to the conclusion that it def. was not a goldfish. I even named it Rambo. (I named all the fish one was Schwarzenegger and the other one was Jean-Claude Van Damme. Oh and the scary looking algae eater was Gerth.)
