Can you multitask while you read? Such as eat and read or listen to music and read? If you can listen to music, is it with lyrics or instrumental?

Or do you get distracted when listening to music? Do you have to give a book your undivided attention or else you'll get lost and confused?

Let me know about your multi-tasking abilities! I have always wondered about this.

I can do plenty of things while I read. I listen to music (Not instrumentals) I even sing along to the music even though thats not a pleasant sound XDD
I also eat and watch tv while I read...and I also crochet while I read, too!
Sometimes I even have five books spread around me and I read a page of each book, one at a time, then the next page until I'm done with the book XD

O.O are you serious? XD how on earth do you understand the story!?!?

Cassie, that's what I was thinking. I think I would be super lost.

I listen to music only of the voice was low .. I can't listen to loud music while reading it gets distracting o.O
I like listening to audio books and .. Doing something else with my hands ... I draw sometimes .. Or even wash the dishes .. I also love making bracelets while listening to audio books it so ..... Relaxing :p

I never listen to audiobooks. I don't like people reading to me XDD

Basma, I enjoy audiobooks as well. It gives me an opportunity to be productive in other aspects.

I never eat with reading, I'm afraid I'll spill something but I do listen to lyrical but slow music.

I eat and read a few times but typically I avoid do that. Sometimes I listen to music but most of the time it will distract me

I like listening to music while reading because it helps set the mood. I also read while eating which I guess is why my mum thinks I read more than a normal person should
