Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry discussion

The Hogwarts Carriages transport Hogwarts students between Hogsmeade Station and Hogwarts. They are black in color, with headlamps attached to the front. During inclement weather, hoods are attached to the top of the carriages, but in fair weather, the tops are left open. They are pulled by Thestrals, skeletal winged horses that only people who have seen death can see.

However, they only transport second to seventh years, as the first years traditionally travel across the Black Lake by boat with the Gameskeeper.
