Owning a strip club isn’t the fantasy most guys expect it to be. Twenty-two-year-old Charlie Rourke needs a lot of money, really fast, in order to vanish before it’s too late. Taking her clothes off for men makes her stomach curl but Charlie tells herself that at least she’s putting her acting and dancing skills to good use. And though her fellow dancers seem eager to nab their sexy, sophisticated, and genuinely caring boss, she’s not interested. After all, Charlie Rourke doesn’t really exist—and the girl pretending to be her can't get distracted by romance.

Unfortunately, Charlie soon discovers that developing feelings for Cain is inevitable, and that those feelings may not be unrequited—but losing him when he finds out what she’s involved with will be more painful than any other sentence awaiting her.

This is going to sound weird, but I hate weekends... Can't sit down and read.

I'm on chapter 10, and I can already see that that crazy psychiatrist will have plenty to do.

oh dear :( weekends get like that for me sometimes. I probably wouldn't have finished already but I couldn't sleep last night so i ended up reading ☺

It's just so much going on! I much prefer weekdays (that might be because I haven't started working yet).

Work is a killer.

I start next January, I'm sooo excited. I'll still have to spend some time on the bus, which means reading time (I'll already have my Kindle by then :) )

That's the good thing about not driving - you can read during your journey ☺

So, I finished chapter 19 (and totally agree with what you posted). But then something else nagged at me:

one of the girls is called Levi. Is Levi a woman's name in English? For me, in Portuguese, it's always a man's name.

It is more of a man's name, but then Abbie and I noticed that one of the actresses from Pretty Little Liars had had a baby girl and called it 'Phoenix Emanual' the other day. That sounds like a boy's name too!

Yay! Finally getting to read this one.. I've been wanting to for like 5+ months.. I love this author and so far this series has been so good

Chapter 1: (view spoiler)[It's been 2 years since I last read Ten Tiny Breaths, so Cain's a little blurry to me. But this is honestly a good start! I love the voice so far, it drew me in immediately. I remember Tucker's way of cliffhanging and mysteries. I love it so far. (hide spoiler)]
