Hello My name is Shirley Bullock and I am the author of Forever Promised. Forever Promised is a time travel romance set in the old west. It has a paranormal twang to it along with a dabble of medical drama. It has had the number five spot on Amazon westerns for several months. (can't seem to beat 3:10 to Yuma).Forever Promised
Have you ever wished to be anywhere but where you are now? Be careful. That is exactly what Nurse Geri Lanham did and she ended up in 1888!
Assisting the doctor in removing her favorite patient from life support was not what Nurse Lanham wanted to do. Something goes terribly wrong and Geri wakes up in the year 1888.
Contending with time travel was bad enough, but an onery, albiet handsome sheriff, wants to put a hangman's noose around her neck!
Trying to find her way home Geri realizes that once a promise has been made from the heart it can transcend time to be forever promised.
My bio:
Shirley Bullock is a Licensed Practical Nurse of 20 years, who has gone back to college to procure a degree in history and anthropology. She teaches Sunday school and writes/directs plays for church. She enjoys photography and dabbles in community theatre and Improv troupes. She lives on a farm with her husband. She enjoys being with her grandchildren.
My name is Eric Anthony Galvez PT DPT CSCS. In September 2005, I was diagnosed with a golf-ball sized meningioma brain tumor between the brain stem and cerebellum, and have been unable to return to my career as a PT just yet. However as a physical therapist, it is engrained in our practice to be good teachers, and I have published a book, Reversal: When A Therapist Becomes A Patient, regarding my unique experiences as a young adult brain tumor/rehab patient and healthcare professional. It stands out in the market because it contains:1. The humorous and entertaining perspective of a young active male brain tumor patient presented in a conversational tone.
2. The logical perspective of a patient with a medical background when faced with difficult medical dilemmas
3. Multiple perspectives from the loved ones closest to a patient
4. A real time format that is easy to read and validates the authenticity of the situation
5. A book soundtrack available exclusively on iTunes
6. The perspective of a first generation Filipino American patient vs. the views of his overprotective traditional Filipino parents

Rowena Cherry bio: I'm unreliably psychic (by which I mean that I occasionally know things that no one expects me to know. I have exceptionally good hearing, an eye for detail, and a near-photographic memory. And, I've lurked and observed from some of the world's most glamorous and privileged vantage points.
I've played chess in an exhibition match in the stately home of a Lord, and duplicate bridge for money (disastrously) in Marbella, dined aboard a sheikh's yacht in the Puerto Jose Banus, and received the gold level of the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award inside Buckingham Palace, I'm a member of ancient Cambridge University where I studied for my four-year "good combined honors" degree in English and Education, and I've taught the daughters of aristocrats and rock stars at exclusive boarding schools, first in Dorset, then in London.
I've lived the glamorous life of a corporate alien abroad, and I've been driven around the racetrack ahead of the field in pace cars at the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400, picked the brains of rocket scientists and rock stars….and much more.
My life so far has been fantastic inspiration for romance novel scenes and alien-world building.
MY BOOKS:
[Book: Forced Mate] was written as a spoof in the best possible taste of historical abduction romances. I took every stock scene and gave it a twist because the macho abductor is a god-prince from outer space, and he cannot believe what his bottom is telling him when a British bathtub --upon which he is nonchalantly perched while waiting for the heroine to disrobe and get in-- lacks the smarts to stop filling at an appropriate level.
Nothing gets ripped. Forced Mate is a chess term for a situation where the first of the rival kings to make a pawn into his queen is the winner.
My second book is Insufficient Mating Material currently in a blurb contest It takes up where Forced Mate ended, with the story of the losing king and the princess who filmed herself having sex with him under the mistaken impression that he was an inferior being and could not possibly get her into trouble.
Knight's Fork concludes the series. The first winning "King" decides that the best way to neuter his rivals for power is to trap them into marriage with liability wives (his scandalous sisters). A Queen's straightforward request to an enemy world leader for a sperm donation turns into an intergalactic Helen of Troy incident when the cosmic equivalent of the paparazzi catch her leaving a so-virtuous politician's bedroom and all the worlds' leaders assume the worst.
Hi, everyone. I'm Sharon E. Cathcart, author of "In The Eye of The Beholder: A Novel of the Phantom of The Opera" (coming soon in the UK from Turner Maxwell Books and available now as an eBook). I'm also the co-author of "Born of War ... Dedicated to Peace," the history of Sixth U.S. Army. You can find both books by visiting http://www.scribd.com/fiona64. The military history book is a freebie; the novel has a 10-page preview available for anyone to read and then decide whether they wish to purchase the download. :-) I had my second cover art conference for the UK paperback over the weekend. It's both scary and exciting to see one's work come to fruition. :-) Thanks to everyone for their kind support; I look forward to getting to know you all.

*Hello* from Mark Turnbull, new author, and my first book ''Decision Most Deadly''http://www.decisionmostdeadly.com
I am 29 and live near Durham, on the North East of England.
Sir Charles Berkeley comes from humble roots, but through a humiliating war with Scotland, he is able to make a name for himself and attract the patronage of the influential Earl of Holland.
Moving to London, his new marriage is soon interrupted by the spiralling events of the 1640's where the struggle between King and Parliament begins to escalate beyond any control.
He struggles to live in the hub of all this discord and during the overlooked, but pivotal year of 1641, he finds himself determined to remain above the fray.
Life will never be the same as the country lurches ever closer to civil war. Sir Charles agonizes over the decision that many of our ancestors would have grappled with - King or Parliament?
Very soon, Sir Charles is thrust into the dispute and is at the forefront of the crisis, experiencing the battle for power from both sides.
Enter the world of the 17th century!
EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PREVIEW BEFORE IT HITS THE BOOK STORESDOUBLE OUT AND BACK by Lisa Lipkind Leibow will be available as an e-book (in advance of its print book release) from www.RedRosePublishing.com on August 13, 2009.
Be among the first to read it!
Not every woman who rides the fertility treatment roller coaster winds up like Octomom.
Who will find friends, family, and fertility?
Three women’s lives are intricately intertwined, as Amelia Schwartz and Summer Curtis struggle with the complex dynamics of intrafamily embryo adoption, and Chandy Markum strives to make her patients’ dreams a reality.
After more than a decade, of mourning her parents’ deaths, anal-retentive Amelia Schwartz decides to take control of her life, pursuing single motherhood via embryo adoption. While her fertility doctor, Chandy, is preoccupied with the destruction of the cosmopolitan Cape Town of her youth and her first love in apartheid-torn South Africa, believing all is lost, her niece, a young, married, overachieving attorney Summer Curtis, juggles zealous career ambitions, demanding bosses, and friction with her husband over family and fertility issues. They must confront the painful reality that, no matter what technology humans devise to manipulate reproduction, prolong life, and construct family units, they have not yet mastered control over their beginnings and endings.
Thrown all into this is one story that can make or break. Are you up to it?
Prior to pursuing the literary dream of novel writing, Lisa practiced law for over a decade, drafting legal briefs and memoranda much like the young attorney in her novel. This professional environment was the inspiration for the characters and settings in Double Out and Back. After being stuck at her office on 9/11, a month-long siege on the city by a sniper, and discovering that the other parents at her twins’ preschool thought her au pair was her sons’ mom, Lisa decided to trade the billable hour lifestyle for fiction writing from home. Her work has appeared in the Pisgah Review. She is currently working on her second novel.
Lisa lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, three sons, a clumber spaniel, and two red-eared sliders.

Hi, my name is Sandra McLeod Humphrey and I'm the author of seven children's/YA books. After working more than 31 years as a clinical psychologist, I retired in 1992 to write children's books to motivate and inspire our kids to be the best that they can be.My book Hot Issues, Cool Choices: Facing Bullies, Peer Pressure, Popularity, and Put-Downs is a collection of 26 vignettes depicting various forms of bullying with thought questions following each vignette. All the vignettes are based on true experiences related to me by students during my school visits, and the book is dedicated to a 12-year-old Minnesota boy who took his own life as a result of bullying. Hot Issues, Cool Choices has received very positive endorsements from nationally recognized educators and is the recipient of a 2008 Mom’s Choice Gold Award and the 2009 Young Voices Foundation Silver Award.
