Sherri was excited by the time thy got to the bowling alley, and just a little hopped up on sugar from the cinnamon roll he had given her.
Kambern looked at her and chuckled, "maybe I shouldn't let you have so much sugar at once," he teased.
He smiled and got his shoes. He put them on and went to the lane he was told, "it was enough," he chuckled again.
He laughed slightly and kissed the top of her head. He typed their names into the computer, "alright, your up first."
She nodded and picked out a ten pound orange ball. She walked up to the line and swung wildly, sending the ball straight into the gutter.
She hopped up and down in frustration then calmed down when the ball came back in the return machine. She picked up her ball and threw it again, yelling in delight when she got a spare-strike.
Kambern chuckled and got up for his turn, "definitely less sugar," he teased and kissed her softly before going to throw all gutter balls.
She grinned and kissed him after he missed both times. "Aw don't worry Kambern, I'm sure you'll hit a pin.... Maybe even before we finish the game." She teased.
"Yeah yeah yeah." She said with a snicker and rolled her ball again. She got a strike and gloated by doing a happy dance, making people look at her weirdly but she didn't care.
She did fairly well by imagining that the pins were each one of the people she had been hurt by. Luke was always the first pin to go down.
Kambern managed to his a pin, "yes!" He ran off the lane and picked her up. He spun her around, "you saw that, right?"
He pulled his lips from hers and smiled, "yes?" He asked sweetly, assuming she was probably getting embarrassed.
"I feel like someone is going to throw a bowling ball at us." She said and tugged him back towards the little table they had that was a few yards away from the lane.
"I assume you mean with the baby, not with beating your cute butt at bowling." She said with a grin.
He chuckled, "I guess I mean both," he stated and kissed her softly, "how come your better at everything?"
"I am not better at everything." She said and shook her head. It was a nice feeling though that he thought that. "Need I remind you of my cooking skills? They are little to none."
She flushed but felt bold so she nodded and patted the part of his body in question. "Yep. Aside from that, though I know from experience just how cute it is." She said with a grin.
He nodded, "yup," he reset the bored so they could play again, "try to go easier on my this time," he asked with a smile.
"Okay, bring your arm back slowly for now then swing it forward like this." She instructed and guided his arm in the way she wanted him to throw it.
Kambern paid more attention to how amazing she looked then to what she was actually saying. He threw the ball and hit on pin.
