What is the weirdest book you've read?

The sentences.
Were so.
Choppy.
It got on my.
Nerves.
Plus it was very.
Dumb.

Um...it didn't go into much detail at all. And it was confusing. Not at all like a regular book. Not at all.
The writing.
Was so choppy.
That there.
Were like no paragraphs.
At all.
The 'romance' was dumb.
And unbelievable.
The main character.
Was annoying.
You're not able to visualize.
Any of the characters.
Like real people.
They have no character depth.
At all.

weirdest book would be difficult, weird good or weird bad?

I once read a gargantuan scifi book, dystopian and it started ok, then it got really really weird, I mean I dont even want to go into how weird it was, and that was just the subject matter, then the writer must have started free basing acid, because the writing was disconnected and made no sense, and I was only half way through it, I have only not read 2 books in my life that I started and that was one of them,
weird good, uhhhhhh I guess Ulysses by james joyce, hes such a good writer but that book was tough to understand. anything by pynchon!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the savage detectives by Bolano.

i guess it would be The Catcher in the Rye

Probably The Little Secret by Kate Saunders. It's a children's book, but it is so weird, at least to me.

I'm reading a really weird and different one now

the host is a weird book, the plot was weird to me even though i had watched the movie

In middle school I read a book called The Ghost Upstairs. Or something like that. It was about a boy that moves into a new house and starts hearing shuffling noises in a small room in the attic (Later, you find out that the small room was a slave's room back in the day). When the boy goes and checks it out, he sees a stain on the floor, and when he touches it, it takes him into the life of a slave boy that died in the 1800s (I think that was the time).

It was a weird thing because it kept flashing back and forth from then and present time. The main character even experiences the death of the slave boy.

That's the only book I can think of that stands out as weird.

Without a doubt the weirdest book I've ever read is SHATTER ME

I fail to see how Unwind is considered weird. Then again, I myself am weird, so weird things seem utterly normal to me.

Another truly weird book: Shades of Grey.

I should warn you - there's only the one book so far. Fforde hasn't begun work on the sequels yet apparently, so if you like it, be prepared for a possibly super-long wait!

I have to update my weirdest book experience. The second book in the Penryn and the End of Days series, World After. There were some weird things going down in that one. I loved Angelfall with a passion and enjoyed the second one as much as the first, but it was weird. No doubt about it. Lol

I completely agree. Both those books I loved but they were very weird too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this way. Most people didn't like World After because of the weirdness, but I think it was still just as enjoyable as Angelfall. It was only different.
