Silver I don't really like Bach... but I'm learning a Concerto in A minor on violin right now that's okay... it's really hard to memorize though because the sections repeat themselves but slightly differently...

Silver BACH DOUBLE
(I know part II and I'm still memorizing part I )
(part II starts)

It's hard to memorize one part after you've memorized the other part because they have the same sections in them...

Novin Bach is hard to memorize, but awesome. I adore his works. I'm working on his 3part inventions , and they're great, how you can hear 3 threads...and the main melody...wow! His 2part inventions are as well great, and of course I really enjoyed playing his preludes and fugues...

Emily O (readingwhilefemale) I like Bach (he has a few great oboe pieces) but I can't listen to him for long, and I have to be in the right mood. I am generally a fan of the Romantic period of classical music more than the Baroque, but there is no denying Bach's genius capabilities. He could write counterpoint like no-one else, and he really made it beautiful, which is quite the extra step. We used to play his chorales every day for warm-ups in band, and I loved them. He was also a very skilled organist, and he really wrote those fugues because of that. He was a very talented man, and though I do prefer later classical music better, he'll always have my respect and a little place in my heart.

Zoë Willis (zoecutegirl) I love Bach! I played Two-part Invention No. 13 on the piano--pretty challenging, but fun! It was for an audition.
