A World Without Sun discussion

((RP in Aaron's house))

Aaron came to the door of his house and rummaged in his pocket for a key. He looked at Chloe and opened the door. There was, of course nobody else at home.

Chloe looked around nervously and walked in.
Lily stuck by Aaron's leg.

Aaron looked down at her but didn't say anything. "Well...this is it." he said. "I think there are at least two extra rooms here for you to stay in."

"Thanks." Chloe said.
"You nice." Lily obsereved

Aaron looked down at her. "Thanks." he said. "I really try." "I'll show you your room." he said to Chloe

Lily tugged his hand, "Can mommy and I share a room?" she asked shyly.
Chloe watched Aaron for his answer

"Yeah. Sure." Aaron said. He led them to one of the rooms that had just been cleaned out recently. It was a bit too grand for his taste but he guessed Chloe might like it. "This is it." he said, opening the door. The room had a four poster bed and two or three wardrobes lining the walls.

Lily giggled and went to jump on the bed.
Chloe took it all in wide eyed. It was better than anything she had ever lived in. She hugged Aaron, "Thank you."

Aaron was a bit surprised by the hug but hugged her back slowly. "I guess you liked it." he said.

"No ones helped me before." She said and pulled away blushing. "I love it."

Aaron shrugged. "There are a lot of rooms in here." he said. "You can have your pick if you like."

Chloe nodded, "You live here alone?" she asked, they hadn't run into anyone, even as big as the house was, you practically hear everything.

"My foster parents own the place." he said. "But they're almost never here so...I usually have the house all to myself."

"Only child." she observed.

"Yeah." he said. "I once wished I had a sister but I'm okay being alone now."

Lily ran over to them and raised her arms at Aaron wanting to be picked up.

((I don't know. I was thinking not brother and sister...It gets more interesting that way.))

Aaron picked her up and swung her around. "Liked that?" he asked smiling.

((so bf and gf? :) ))

Lily giggled and nodded, "We play?"

"Yeah. We'll play." AAron said, "What do you like to play?"

"Hide and seek!" she told him.

"Okay." he said sportingly. "You hide and I'll find you!" he smiled at Chloe.

Lily nodded excitedly and ran from the room.

Aaron waited for a few moments and then went to find her.

Chloe smiled watching Aaron interact with Lily. Its was so different from what her stepfather had done and Lily seemed so happy and opened to him. She smiled and went to unpack their bags.

Lily was downstairs hiding behind the couch, quiet.

Aaron saw Lily almost immediately as he entered the room but he decided to play up. He pretended to look behind the table and the TV, delberately not looking where she was. "You've sure found a good hiding place." he called out.

Lily giggled and covered her mouth to muffle it.

Aaron looked towards the giggle and walked towards the couch. He came right in front of her. "Caught you." he grinned, lifting her up.

Lily covered her eyes, "I'm not here!" she smiled

"Yes you are." he said. "I'm holding you right now!" he laughed.

"Nuh huh." she giggled

He threw her up in the air and caught her again. "Yes I am." he said.

Lily squealed, "Okie. Okie. You are."

"That's more like it." he said setting her down.

Lily smiled up at him, "Now you hide!"

"Okay." he said. "Close your eyes."

Lily nodded and covered her eyes and started counting.

Aaron went to hide behind a bookshelf in the same room. With his thin frame, he could easily squeeze himself behind it.

Lily finished and looked around, "Aarun!" she called pronouncing his name wrong. She looked around the living room confused

Aaron stood quietly behind the bookcase, smiling at her wrong pronounciation of his name

"Aarun!" she cried and went to another room

"I'm here." Aaron called out, wondering whether she would find out where his voice was coming from.

Lily ran back into the room but frowned, not seeing him.

Chloe finished unpacking and headed downstairs.
Lily ran over to Chloe, "I can't find Aarun."
Chloe smiled, "Really? Aaron's being mean to you by hiding?"
Lily nodded, "Yes."

"Hey!" Aaron protested coming out from behind the bookcase. "She told me to hide and I did. I wasn't being mean!" he looked at Lily teasingly. "Couldn't find me?"

Lily smiled and hugged his leg. "I found you now."

Chloe smiled, "I think you were." she teased

"No." he said looking at Chloe. He picked Lily up. "How could I be mean to her?"

Chloe smiled, "You can't."

"Exactly." he said with a quick grin.

Chloe giggled and rolled her eyes.

"You need anything else?" Aaron asked her, setting Lily down.
