Who's ready (or not ready) for the 2013 Christmas Special? Trenzalore, Twelve, and just about all the main enemies.

I really hope that one of the things I've read in some of these "leaked spoilers" isn't true.

I felt the same way when David Tennant left, but I grew to love Matt and understood a whole lot more about the character of the Doctor. Of course I watch the Doctor 10 episodes on my DVR more than 11 but I do catch little things from 9 and 10 that click in with Matt's adventures. What amazes me is how the writers of this series manage in an episode to incorporate something mentioned in an episode of a previous doctor. Try to be optimistic. You just might be surprised as I was.

I just got into the fandom so Matt is my doctor.

So I just realised that they're on Trenzalore before it became a planet full of graves from a terrible war.

OMG THAT ENDING!!!!! When Peter was looking at Clara and than he said at the very end before the episode ended "How do you fly this?" I was like OMG ARE YOU SEROIUS!!!??

I thought this episode was really made done and I cried when Matt was saying farewell to Clara and that fast regeneration into Peter?! Whoa that was fast! Matt we will miss you and we will always remember you as the 11th doctor in our hearts.

I was sad when Clara was alone without the doctor...*sniffles*

Yeah me too, that scared the crap outta me the first time I watched it. The music that was playing during Matt saying farewell to Clara and Amy saying goodnight was so sad it made me tear up. Steven is such a amazing writer for this show, that's why I love the show and the actors and actresses and the story.

David Tennant was my first Doctor, and the first episode I saw was Donna's first time with the Doctor, that Christmas special, with the giant spider.

I can't believe the regeneration was that powerful to destroy those ships

I was really disappointed in Time of the Doctor. It was a big mess. There was virtually no story at all. I wish the DW people would give up two ideas: the first is that the final story MUST be foreshadowed by an earlier episode/episodes, especially if they haven't worked the final episode out properly. That means they're tied down to doing certain things, and often those things don't work. Also, they don't need every significant enemy to make an appearance. It slows the pace and also gives less time for an actual plot. We didn't need the Silence or the Weeping Angels (although I though the Weeping Angels bit worked, but it was too brief) nor did we need most of the aliens. And why is everyone suddenly against Gallifrey coming back anyway, especially since they have a policy of neutrality? I can understand the Daleks not wanting them back, but everyone?
Matt's farewell scene was good. The rest of it was rubbish.
